- The bluebox by 1010music has a very musical delay and reverb. But sometimes, you want to use that cool stompbox or reverb unit you have lying around. In this video, Our Customer Happiness enforcer, Steve, takes you through three different scenarios for connecting external FX to the bluebox.

Thank you, for supporting your products that well! come from the EHX 95000 Multitrack/looper, one year try of an MPC live mk1 and not gonna get familiar with it, lacks some features I thought it could be good for my workflow, and now brand new bluebox user. Much more my style of making music!

Very cool. At 5:18 we can hear a phasing on a drum loop before you turn the effect on. What is the roundtrip latency for a such configuration?
hi steve. yestarday i bouhgt the bluebox eurorack. . just wanted to listen to the internal effects how they sound over my phones. the reverb is working eventho i hear a cklick while changing the reverb types, but my delay abslotely does nothing at all. i did also a firmware update, still the delay isnt working. i mean when my reverb is working the delay should, too right?? i see the knobs turning but i cant hear any delay. why is that??
Wow nice vid, I plan on getting the BB for connecting all my gear and sending it to my sp16 sampler. Then returning it back the the BB to record my live proformance. Can that be done ? I do believe so but like to hear your input before buying.. THANKS IN ADVANCE 👍👍👍
Bluebox has 3 stereo outs so 2 can be used as aux sends? And are there 2 inputs for the rtrns?
stereo headphones output, plus two stereo outputs that can be split to mono. You have 6 stereo inputs for any purpose.
@@1010music I purchased a Bluebox from Elevator Sounds in Bristol. It's really good and I'm just getting into the inputs and outputs properly.
I am having trouble getting my stereo pedal FX to actually send/return in stereo. They keep returning in Mono. I'm using using hosa 1/8" to Y 1/4".

Yes. That is possible.

Do these techniques also work on the blackbox?
The blackbox has 1 stereo input. So it is possible. We connect various FX and guitar pedals this way.

I've had this and a model 12 in my cart for the past 2 weeks. The model 12 will do exactly what I need, but its too big. I'm praying that 1010 update if possible or come out with a box that can in/out audio over USB. I'm sure I'm not the only one wanting this feature. Fingers crossed!
Can the headphone output be used as a send?
Yes

@@Doomsterone1 you get a separate stereo CUE mix for the headphones - so you could isolate one track (or a mix) and send to it CUE and treat it with a different effect chain than OUT2. Then you could pipe that back into another track.
Heard you are making a 4 track porta mode for the bluebox, and 2 track 20 second looper for the lemon drop. This true? If so I’m getting a bluebox.
