It makes me weird to see a Huawei with a Snapdragon 😞. It's like seeing an iPhone with a Mediatek processor from 3 - 4 years ago. When I think of what the Kirin 9000, which is already 2 years old, is capable of doing, I kind of imagine what it would have been like if Huawei had been able to continue its Kirin. On the other hand, I'm a little disappointed that Huawei has abandoned its 3D face unlock, and as I said 2 years ago with the P40 Pro / Mate 40 Pro, they should have centered the pill like Apple is apparently going to do on its future iPhones 14. Instead of seeing a pill bigger than the holes in the screen of Android smartphones, people would have seen a miniaturized and revolutionary Face-iD. But at least Huawei seems to have solved its photo-video colorimetry problems, but especially its video stabilization problem, that's the main reason why I stopped to use Huawei. The real big problem with this smartphone is its price, it costs more than an iPhone 13 Pro and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Huawei must accept that its status is no longer the same and review its pricing positioning otherwise it will be really complicated for them, the proof they have gone from number 1 in China (their home market where normally the absence of GMS should not be a problem) to not even in the top 5.
well said. Huawei really still thinks they're one of those brands that can charge well over $1000 for a phone, when in reality they're far from that. Huawei is delusional at this point.
I wonder now that this has a SD 888,could we see a Gcam port for this? I know the stock cam is pretty amazing as is,but I have always wondered of the possibilities that could arise with google's software and huawei's incredible camera hardware
I'm not sure if that's desirable, given Huawei's RYYB main camera. But I could be wrong, if Huawei went back to an RGGB camera for the P50 Pro; I couldn't tell what the main camera sensor was. Edit: I just looked back at the launch video from July 2021. No, they revealed nothing beyond an aperture of f/1.8 and 23mm focal length. The 50MP sensor could be anything, given how many there are after the debut of the IMX700 in 2020.
Gcam port will never be as good as what you have on the pixel device, cos pixel have dedicated image processor for fine-tuning their images and is pretty much optimized to work together. Huawei on the other hand pics are top of league, so who needs ports ?
@@frankieexlr6398 this is precisely the kind of thinking we don't need in the android space, we're fricking android users, not iOS We have the power to decide when to use the stock camera and when not to, especially since installing gcam doesn't mean your stock camera will just stop working without reason I use gcam on my S21 Ultra and it greatly helps in rendering textures more naturally and preventing the "oversharpen edges and smoothen textures + denoise" trick samsung does to all of it's photos so they seem tack sharp from a surface viewing. It's not so much an issue with the main or wide sensors though, but with the telephoto,it is very, very noticeable, especially when shooting human or animal subjects I switch to the stock camera for video, extra features and hell, sometimes just shooting with it too cause it does have it's pros and cons

More than happy. 👌
Currently using the P30 Pro and I'm happy with it. I still have access to Google services
@@wilsondikgale5823 you've missed the point my P30 had Google it's the phones released since that don't.
@@craigdavies1747
very true
I think its probably a bonus moving away from anything Google.
Ive got the P30pro and think my next phone will also be Huawei.
I like Huawei Phones. I've had P9, P10 Plus, P20 Pro & P30 Pro. All superb phones. I like Google services so didn't get the P40 series sadly. I'm still hoping Huawei gets GMS licence back & I'll be straight back. I actually reckon that Huawei have had so much press in the last 2 years that if they managed to get GMS back their sales would dwarf Samsung, Pixel etc
I am so much going back to Huawei. This is so beautiful.
What a GORGEOUS phone!
Your Reviews Are Awesome I Love Your Personality
The new P50 pro is a really solid flagship that I would love to have. Also thanks to GSpace you can use all apps you want.
P60 pro gunna be a beast
I'm been searching for super free wallpapers HD quality 😄
My first smartphone was a Huawei and I still have that with me and it is a great phone for it's price. I'm currently using an iPhone X but if Huawei gonna put Google services on their Devices again I'm definitely Switching to Android with a flagship Huawei. And your cat's face is pretty funny and adorable.
P20 pro still going strong and is still solid
The virtual friend segment was hilarious! Who among us doesn't think their phone wants to murder them while they sleep? LOL
nice review as always.. superb looking phone , what a shame with this nonsense with the US restrictions.. no GMS, I would still consider this gorgeous looking phone with great specs.. hopefully the restrictions ease of soon and I can get my hands on a new Huewei
Don’t care about the phone but love your personality. Agreed with that cave comment.
Yah even me I like the wallpapers you use ,where do you get them
Camera comparison, p50 13 max & s21 ultra
Keep it up bro...
People complaining of $1100, frrr.. HUAWEI IS DAMN MACHINE💚❤️🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
thank you!! I almost made a wrong choice huawei p50 a great way to increase my credit score
Love this dudes use of Anime wallpapers!
I can't wait my P50 Pro ☺️ btw..
I love your wallpaper... it's hanako kun 😍
They make the best phones out there and this is just sad to see!!! Maybe one day they will be back in the spotlight like they should be.
I need these wallpapers man. It's so good
Love the vlog mate especially the scruffy walrus bit lol thanks for the very informative mobile info my love it
I got that phone and for now I am really satisfied.
I doesn't care so much if here is no 5G or google services or idk what is called.
Good review unlike other UA-camrs
After buying a Huwaei Laptop, I'm sold on the brand. Phone next!
hi thx for review. I have the p50 pro dual sim with EMUI 12. I am able to use google drive, google sheets, doc and youtube perfectly so far. For youtube I have installed youtube vanced which is even better than authentic yt. You can use it with the screen off. For now the issue I have not solved yet is related to the back up of my whats app history from my old to this new p50 pro ... I'm still trying to figure it out.
However all the rest look great even google maps works same way on this huawei p50.
What about Google Pay pass?
I have the p40 pro (With GMS), and I'm very curious about this phone.
Does work properly ,gmaps? And gmail?
How? Support stopped with the P30. I thought only Honor gets to retain GMS because they're going to Qualcomm chips.
@@acocabarkapa someone posted a video about successfully installing gms on the P50 Pro kirin version too, but I've not seen any with the sd888
@@prahapivo I knew that ,but when you make updates problem begins,
@Pour Homme p40 pro is 400e here, i think is worth
Nice video like the unboxing
keep up the good work man
Nice Hanako-kun wallpaper dude!😂
Props for the toilet bound hanako kun background I love that anime and it's the only anime I purchased physical manga books
I am late to the party and I am seriously considering this phone with the Xiaomi 12t pro. But the Huawei P50 Pro costs 50,- euro extra. I mainly want to use it as a camera phone for making photos outdoors (making use of zoom camera) and indoors. No need to game or anything. Is it worth the extra cash? What is your opinion, is it worth it?
That cat is so handsome. Wally has always charged big money for premium, but it's A hard sell when they don't have Google access. Xiaomi screens better value for money but Huawei seems to make works of art when it comes to tech
I love huawei...❤❤❤💐🌹
Huawei is the best phone on 🌎
It has lot of good features that kne can't do without an its so swift
8:17 haha, actor almost fuched up and walked over a senior
I dont know, 1200 EUR starting price for a boring design, no Google services out of the box & lots of questions about what the future holds for Huawei. And no, you cant say 'just sideload Google apps' on a device with such a hefty price
Cheers Chris, have a good weekend
Google ban on Huawei ruined their sales. Still love my old P30 pro, last Huawei with Google services on it.
This is a very well detailed video
Great phone! Huawei is still in top
But objectively, it isn't on top. They've fallen quite a bit since they lost access to google services.
watching this from my new Huawei p50 pro 😁
They gone from no. 1 in china was simply because they were unable to get all those required tech to make enough devices..
well said. Huawei really still thinks they're one of those brands that can charge well over $1000 for a phone, when in reality they're far from that. Huawei is delusional at this point.
That Anima stuff was weird 😂
I really like your videos 👏
Is really battery life good? Battery seems modest for such a screen....
Great job Huawei 👏👏👏👏
My dream phone at the moment
You have the best humour mate!
May I ask if the P50 Pro still retain the useful "Light Painting" modes in their camera that were previously avail on the P40 Pro & P30 Pro?
No Light painting and No hdr mode
When are we getting the Redmi Note 11S & Note 11pro 5G review ? 😩
@@KevinEnjoyer I think they switched back to RGGB this year
Gcam port will never be as good as what you have on the pixel device, cos pixel have dedicated image processor for fine-tuning their images and is pretty much optimized to work together. Huawei on the other hand pics are top of league, so who needs ports ?
@@frankieexlr6398 this is precisely the kind of thinking we don't need in the android space, we're fricking android users, not iOS
We have the power to decide when to use the stock camera and when not to, especially since installing gcam doesn't mean your stock camera will just stop working without reason
I use gcam on my S21 Ultra and it greatly helps in rendering textures more naturally and preventing the "oversharpen edges and smoothen textures + denoise" trick samsung does to all of it's photos so they seem tack sharp from a surface viewing. It's not so much an issue with the main or wide sensors though, but with the telephoto,it is very, very noticeable, especially when shooting human or animal subjects
I switch to the stock camera for video, extra features and hell, sometimes just shooting with it too cause it does have it's pros and cons
@@govardhanposina17 Mmmmm. It doesn't seem to have any negative effects, per GSMArena's findings.
I can handle a smart phone without google services, am currently doing it and am always ready to do it again
Great review 🤙🏻
Only if Huawei could deal with privacy issues, this phone would be absolute banger with google services!
What about Google? Do you know they spy through hour GPS? Every move you make, every high street shops you visit, browsing history, your contacts, UA-cam activities, Google emails, my drive application and so on... Well, I am not surprised, that fools/ ignorant like you only listen to the hate propagandas from your country about Huawei, isn't it?
Just lame excuses. There is no proof.
@@suedanoah2983 to clear your doubt, I'm not from the country google belongs and it is not me who banned huawei. And even if you use iphone, you are using youtube, a google service. So sometimes just think beyond hate.
@@suedanoah2983 who's taking about propaganda 😂 . You sound frustrated mate
There are no issues at all, actually
I've got the s20 FE 5g... please make a video for phones that can beat this phone. But not stupid expensive phones. It's nuts how this phone still beats so many phones even in 2022
I couldn’t care less about google. They’ll never give you a refund. Camera on this phone is superb, even better than the latest iPhone 14
Can you do an in-depth review of Vivo V23 and realme GT 2 pro?
I always love huawei🥰
Did not visit the channel since Sony's XM4 review and did not notice changes before, very nice studio and great, straight to the point review as usually ! Well done. About phone, considering lack of Google, specs of the phones from beginning of 2021 price is just madness, better to wait on Galaxy S models which should be introduced in less than 2 weeks :)
Hua Wei is definitely for me. Love it
