I like that you have respect for the instrument to actually care to get a good sound from it. I’m tired of good guitar players just mumbling whatever just to get done with the gig review and not care for how actually sounds or guys with no touch doing the same with expensive gear.
Love this guitar, just got one. Fantastic. My last 2 guitar purchases were Suhr’s. I have around 20 guitars including the more pricey Les Pauls- etc. (64 year old musician) - I love the no frills- straight on knock about quality of this guitar. I’m going to leave it stock. Plek’d neck. Nice piece of wood that just rings. P-90s are a little hot, would have liked the vintage-wind a bit more, but for this price point, made in Nashville- not touching it- just enjoying. ❤️🤘
I am not a fan of Gibson guitars due to their excessive prices and the weight of their bodies, but the simplicity of the les paul junior that keeps that thick sound of Gibson makes me want one!
Excellent demo. Wish they all were as well done as this. Fantastic guitar. One month later....just bought one. Excellent guitar. Top quality instrument at a great price. Intonation is perfect ; pick ups great; and really nice rounded style neck that fits easily in my hands. In fact I can actually play faster and better on this guitar and I don't know why. I've been playing a '65 Gibson ES330 for 24 years and I am loving this new guitar. I also bought an Epiphone Casino around the same time but sold it because the quality of sound is poor on those Epiphones. The poly finish and the electrics are very poor. However they would be fine for a beginner or student due to the relatively good build and playability. This Gibson's a keeper.
I also need to know that. I would guess or assume there would be hum-cancelling in the both-pickups middle position. But I’d like to hear definitively. It’s a big purchase, I wanna a know because I wanna know which guitars I dream about ‘em. I want to feel that my dreams are achievable 😂
Great playing and tones. I just received shipment on an Epi LP Special P90 2020 TV Yellow and while it sounds great, it’s “50’s style” neck is a beast and not sure my 57 year old arthritic hands can tame it. The action is way too high but even after an adjustment, the beefy neck will remain. How does this Gibson neck compare, as the specs do not lend clarity for me on the issue. I did see somewhere this Gibson was labeled as having a slim taper 60’s style neck, true? Thanks.
There's no reason for a modern guitar to have high action if you don't want it. You adjust the action primarily at the bridge, but you also need to have the correct amount of "relief" in the neck. That adjustment is made via the truss rod. UA-cam is full of videos on setting up a guitar. Don't settle for high action when it's easily fixed.

Just roll the volume off.

This is a Les Paul Special. The Junior only has the one bridge pickup.
The neck pickup is still sound like a Humbucker to me. Both pickup sounds great in pos 2. Great demo.
Beautiful tones and tasteful playing.
Thanks for the video.

Nice, great through a Fender combo amp
Do you have any concerns about the intonation. I play a lot of rhythm. Great video thank you

Yes, this guitar has a slim neck.
Great demo.
You've sold me, lol.
