- There's a new Chinese manufacturer on the anime figure scene! Astrum Design's Mask Girl Luna looks like a gorgeous new addition to the OC figure lineup, but let's take a closer look and see how the figure holds up!

weeks after this figure announcement, I already saw someone cosplaying her at a convention! Really popular OC
Love how you explained all the detail ❤❤❤
Placed PO almost a full year ago and she finally arrives today, can't wait! Shame about the hair seams, but you are right, it's a common issue across many different manufacturer's figs. Overall she looks great, thanks for the video showcase.
She looks very nice and of reasonable quality, but $190 seems steep for a figure where the most detailed thing about it is the wrinkled up jacket. I know figures are getting more expensive, but I would compare this to something like Lana Torabishi from Trikt(also being a new company) and Goodsmile. She had way more clothing detail, a large, black marble-like podium of a stand, and highly detailed accessories, yet I believe in today's money she was about $165. That Asuka used for comparison is only about $90, and, as she said, seemed to have more detail and a better base.
I really do appreciate the original design, she's beautiful, but she has nowhere near the level of detail that almost $200 can get you.
Depends where you're shopping though. I've seen her at so many different price points and at this point she's in the hands of resellers. I managed to pick her up on Mercari for just $120 which I think is pretty fair for a figure this small. The 200+ plus range is def more worth it for me if the figure is closer to a 1/4 scale (even those are getting outrageous nowadays.)
agree with you, with around $250 you can get a Myethos Hatsune Miku, she is superb. And the same price from GSC a V4X scale Miku, and surprisingly a semi cast-off lmao very details and the paint job are amazing. I was about to wishlist this but after a close up review- unfortunately it's almost the same quality of BiCute Bunny Miku Street from Furyu for about $30 and her stocking is a real cloth too wwwwwwwww
Cool design tho. had it was half the price i will become a must buy.
Congrats to everyone who got this figure.
Ngl im a fan of the base shape but id prefer if it was smaller
The only downside I have with the figure is the shoes. I like the holo, but in the art they were different. They had white and the final product is all black.
❤❤🤍🤍💙💙
Kotobukiya and Astrum design are both pretty bad tbh...
