I've never seen resin bases for PVC figures before. I could never afford one and don't have the space to display something as huge as this, but seeing how it can look was really interesting! Rimuru can also sit on his throne with the wings attached, btw. My partner got him for our Tensura detolf shelf, since I got the FuRyu scale with the throne. & he has him sitting on the throne with his wings. Looks really cute, actually.
Haha it's amazing what these resin manufacturers can do, but funny enough I only have seen them for One Piece figures... 🤔 Great heads up on the Rimuru wings tho, I just followed the box poses so I guess I missed out! 🤣
26:53 Yep I reckon it is much clearer and audience-targeted by categorising the content either based on the types of product or the IPs but it is still quite interesting to enjoy a video with so many cool things being unboxed and edited together maybe a way for improving is shortening the length of a Haul by foreshowing that you'd be doing more detailed video reviews on a number of your favourite ones so a much briefer information about these pieces can be balanced with others in the Haul-video; And also it is good to have a time guide for what the audience is going to see in this video. This is just my random personal advice and hope it can leave some inspiration.

This is an incredible haul. All great figures but the resin bases definitely take the spotlight. They look phenomenal!! Might I say, even better than full resin statues 🤭. The megahouse quality with the base, mindblown!
I had a look on Nin Nin Game during black friday too. Was interested in some Sword Art Online figures like Alter Kirito but didn't buy anything because i spent enough money last year. Now i did buy a first SAO figure, and that is Bebox Asuna from AmazonJP for 138 euro including shipping and taxes. She will be first SAO figure, and my 2nd Bebox figures. This Asuna is very well done in terms of quality just like Qilolita Rem. Currently i feel that SAO could become a 2nd Re:ZERO with all these Asuna figures. Im a bit obsessed over the show lately...
Haha don't get me started... I recently watched SOA progressive and fell back in love with Asuna's character so I've been on the prowl for some figures... 🤣🤣🤣
Wow! Those resin bases are awesome! Love the more simple Demon Slayer figures too, they focus more on the character rather than the effects. Didn’t know about key caps as a collectible, but they are also amazing!
Resins of that size are always so difficult to put together sometimes. Its always fun to see how people get on with putting them together though. I got the Shinobu by alter in a black friday sale, hopefully I'll pick Kanao up at some point soon. Great video and personally I like seeing a mix in one go!

Alter figures always just even feel premium to me, the pvc has an almost velvety feeling finish.

Great pickups and great video! To be perfectly honest, I have never been disappointed with Alter's execution. I may not like a pose or a design, but their execution is always immaculate and near flawless. I was reminded once again of this with my latest pickup in Fire Emblem Lyn / Rin scale from Intelligent Systems. The color palette on final product looked nothing like the prototype's and the QC was sorely lacking with numerous paint defects on my unit. She is easily my biggest pre-order regret in my collection, which makes me sad because she is one my favorite characters in the franchise. I am worried how Byleth will turn out. Anyway, if I could replace every figure I have not made by Alter with one, I wouldn't hesitate to do so. The two Demon Slayers figures you got were a steal at those prices. :)

Mine for this month has not been sent yet because of the Chinese New Year and tomorrow is going to be the first wave. I just wonder what it is going to be like when over 60,000CNY (about over 12,000 Canadian $）worth of toys arrive at home at approximately the same time...I have never experienced this before... 0:05 Yes...'WE' have ordered too much.
I think the KNY Alter figures pair well with some Aniplex ones but not the Kotobukiya ones as those are slightly larger. I also had my eyes on those two Alter figures but their lifeless expression looks off-putting. Overall I like what Kotobukiya has done already for the Hashiras so might collect those instead. I also love Phat! Kanao so will get her first~
Hehehe Kotobukiya does have a decent line of Demon Slayer figures, my only gripe is the shading tbh... Makes me wonder if they would charge a ton more fir them tho? 🤔
I always enjoy your vids from beginning to end! The Sailing Again Doflamingo and Luffy were absolutely eye catching and appealing! I loved the little touch of seeing PICA at the very base of the resin! The Off White effects that surround Joker are also so very cool! Of course Luffy in his Gear 4 iteration is just awesome in every possible way! Another impressive haul of collectible goodness Derek! 🤩 🤩 🤩
I had the same thought about this month being pretty brutal for figure collectors, since a lot of figures I ordered are being release this month. I'm glad to see more awesome one piece figures. I also have that soba mask figure too, just like you that I wish they would release more members of the family in their raid suit. Glad to see some Alter figures too, they have become one of my favorite companies to buy figures from! A lot of my Azur Lane figures that are being released this month are by Alter. But their other figure work is nice too! As always, great video and always enjoy your work!

Haha yeah, they're supposed to go into some holes on the base and loosely connect to the figures. However, gravity won't let me secure them with glue or something similar so I'll pass on using them for now... 🤣

Was also thinking of buying some resin figures since most have great base. And maybe less maintenance as well 😅 But yeah, love the Luffy Resin! Keycaps were also cool. I also wan one but still haven’t bought a mechanical keyboard. I feel that I still need some learning to do with that aspect.
How thick is the base for luffy by inches? I wanna buy one of these but i only have the standard display cabinet from ikea im not sure if its gonna fit in my display cabinet.

Also I have Maximum Ashura Zoro so I will add Luffy V2 Gear 4 next to him and all other Straw Hat Crew in their dynamic posing figures from POP. I have Osoba Mask! My first One Piece figure actually, and wano Luffy is on the way right now. Unfortunately, the megahouse box looks like it was kicked so I'm looking for some sort of refund. Hopefully I don't think there is any damage to the figure itself Also, those resin bases are fire! 🔥

Hehehe Kotobukiya does have a decent line of Demon Slayer figures, my only gripe is the shading tbh... Makes me wonder if they would charge a ton more fir them tho? 🤔
I always enjoy your vids from beginning to end! The Sailing Again Doflamingo and Luffy were absolutely eye catching and appealing! I loved the little touch of seeing PICA at the very base of the resin! The Off White effects that surround Joker are also so very cool! Of course Luffy in his Gear 4 iteration is just awesome in every possible way! Another impressive haul of collectible goodness Derek! 🤩 🤩 🤩

I had the same thought about this month being pretty brutal for figure collectors, since a lot of figures I ordered are being release this month. I'm glad to see more awesome one piece figures. I also have that soba mask figure too, just like you that I wish they would release more members of the family in their raid suit. Glad to see some Alter figures too, they have become one of my favorite companies to buy figures from! A lot of my Azur Lane figures that are being released this month are by Alter. But their other figure work is nice too! As always, great video and always enjoy your work!

Haha yeah, they're supposed to go into some holes on the base and loosely connect to the figures. However, gravity won't let me secure them with glue or something similar so I'll pass on using them for now... 🤣

How thick is the base for luffy by inches? I wanna buy one of these but i only have the standard display cabinet from ikea im not sure if its gonna fit in my display cabinet.
With Luffy it's about 18in deep, 17in tall, and 14 wide... If it's the bottom shelf then maybe but he's also like 38 pounds in total... 😅

I have Osoba Mask! My first One Piece figure actually, and wano Luffy is on the way right now. Unfortunately, the megahouse box looks like it was kicked so I'm looking for some sort of refund. Hopefully I don't think there is any damage to the figure itself
