I fitted in my creta ex my self. It costs around 1.4k only. It's really useful in long distance travel. At least for some time, we can relax our foot. By the way, the spring you mentioned is called the clock switch.

@@venkateshcr6583 I fitted myself. I can do these small world myself. I would suggest to get it changed by a mechanic because it involves removing steering bolt. You need to be careful with the airbag coupler and clock switch as well.

If OEM doesn't support directly like Creita and Carens then implementing cruise externally would be difficult, Most OEM don't want support like this
This is what I am also thinking about. It is mainly an Engine function actuated electrically at the Steering. I have in my car I use to amaze about that technology. It is like a servo based technology. If we set a speed, even in ups and downs it maintains.... so it has got true engineering. Birla sir if you explain the subscribers how a Cruise control is working and what is possible and what is not possible. Anything goes wrong, our safety will be a problem. Even a single core inside one wire goes, nothing will work. With + and - the speed getting controlled.... etc., Better I am suggesting one video explaining the feature...

True battery needs to be disconnected before removing airbag unit. They have been doing this for a long time, they did it easily in video .

Cruise control cannot be used in our roads for more 2-3 mins.. But that 2-3 mins gives relief for our leg in long drive.. I used it max times in madurai - trichy road where I frequently travel in my i20 at 80kmpl

Cruise control is unnecessary in India, where there is no lane discipline. You cannot use cruise control even for two Kms. Continuously. It's waste of money.

This is really very useful one. We cannot use this in city driving but I used this feature on highways regularly because I will always maintain speed limit between 80kmh to 90kmh. During the lane changing you have to use pause and resume option, that's it.
I have i20 Asta O variant 2022 February model. That time Cruse Control, ESP, Hill hold assist not available in even second top line Asta. That is the reason I went for Asta option. Now a days they included Cruse control in Asta model.
Now these features available in aftermarket we can choose sports and magna variant and fix this in aftermarket. We can save 1.5 Laks to 2 Laks.

@@sampathk8587 Yes Bro, I noticed that. In general Hyundai always line up the variants like Asta O, Asta, Sports and Magna. Instead of choosing the top end model now they have the option to go for mid variants. They will complete the R&D soon in the i20 also, Creta and i20 have the same steering wheel .

its possible. but AC unit needs major changes. Flap opening requires electric Actuators. front control panel to be changed to FATC (fully automated Temp Controller).
