I am from calcutta and aged about 70 yrs. I have seen almost every videos. BUT THIS IS THE BEST. Requesting more videos of such scenic bus route in future. VERRY GOOD. Thank you.
You should look at the Indian palace in Brighton made for Queen Victoria
Hello, Saibal. We Americans also love travel videos. My husband and I are your age, and we find these informative and relaxing. I wouldn't want to drive this bus on such narrow city streets, though! Wishing you the best in Calcutta. 🌺
Awesome bus route. I like to watch videos like this while planning my trip to UK
I wish I could visit the UK. I love watching these bus routes
I hope your wish comes true one day.
This is a fantastic ride ! Especially from about the one-hour mark through the green, rolling country leading to Eastbourne. I was surprised at the number of people who require no entertainment other than just walking on the greensward. The folks afoot in the towns and villages also delight me, especially since I currently am unable to do more than totter short distances myself. London is my favorite city, but for long-term living I now would prefer Eastbourne and environs.
Hello! Omg I used to live in Eastbourne many years ago. This is an amazing trip bringing back so much memories. Thank you so much. Happy Sunday! 😊
Beautiful city that I had the opportunity to know and live for 1 month. Greetings to all the inhabitants of Brighton, a beautiful city and beautiful country UK❤️🇬🇧🏴❤️
And greetings to you from Brighton - glad you enjoyed your stay.
@@raybishop1130 Yes!!!, thank you very much ❤️🏴🇬🇧❤️
Man im so lucky to live in Brighton, so much to see, such beautiful sights. We take things like this for granted when we live here, but if you just stop and look, its such a beautiful place to live. Im lucky to have grown up here :) thanks mum hehe.
Agreed it just went past the bottom of my street in Kemptown. Used the 12x for 20 months from home to work in Eastbourne. Always a treat

I stayed in YHA Eastbourne where there is a bus stop (no. 12) going directly to Seaford - and Brighton. I got off at East Dean, walked down the road to Birling Gap and then the marvellous walk to Beachy Head. There's something surreal about the landscape around there which I can't explain.
That's what I intended to do but couldn't get the dates I wanted at the YHA. In July I'll be travelling by train from Surrey to see my son in Eastbourne. I've never been there before and have booked into a b&b.
Tonight, just idling through UA-cam (as you do 😂) I came across this costal ride. FANTASTIC! and I enjoyed seeing places I never would have seen by train. It's a hilly ride in parts but lovely scenery.
Next time I will try to book the YHA as I've stayed in many of their places around the UK and met many interesting people. It would be good to meet up with other individuals who like this type of thing. I've watched videos by a Scottish guy (Planes Trains Everything) and will look out for more of these travel videos in future.
Many thanks to whoever filmed this one from Brighton to Eastbourne. I loved it.
@@hollyr.2846 Hope your trip is wonderful. 🚅
What a beautiful city! What a beautiful country!
I have actually done this bus trip many years ago when visiting my son. It was a beautiful day and the scenery is spectacular.
Great view from a great bus route. With double-deckers you can see over the shrubbery, and gaze at the rolling hills.
Thanks for this wonderful tour on the blue coast and feel the freshness of the air ,the magic of summer and open space .thank you for this creative work
The view of Eastbourne sprawled out as you come towards the golf course is one of my favourites.
Didn't show the Eazy-E bench in Newhaven tho?!.. 😉.
This looks like a great run especially with the sunny day you had
That was so enjoyable, thank you! I loved that you took us on the pier at the end! 😊💜
Thought I was dreaming - what a beautiful journey! Thank you very much!
I lived in Hove back in the 1980s. I was a groundsman at Roedean Girls School. I packed up and move to Australia in 1990. I sincerely regret ever leaving the town. The coastal bus trip brings back a lot of wonderful memories.
Brighton has seriously gone downhill. You're not missing anything!! I was born there in 53
@@pauledwards5573 Yes, it's seems to be the same everywhere; even over here in Australia.
Don't the council is awful
Thanks for the wonderful tour. It is wonderful that you could take us to other places besides London. Looking forward to seeing more such videos. 😊😊😊
Especially with the extensive rail system.
This was such a beautiful ride. Thank you.
Totally loved this! My mum was born in Polegate.(6 West Close.) She moved to 12 Baldwin Avenue in Eastbourne, when she was 6. From the age of 2 days old, My family travelled to see all my surviving grand parents every 2 weeks. At that time, my dad's parents lived at 56 Lindfield Road in Hamden Park. We would alternate between the 2 locations, staying at one place, and visiting the other. Most of the old houses in St John's Road Polegate, were built by my maternal great grandfather, (Including Brooklands, $ St John's Road Polgate, which is a few doors down from St John's church.) What great weather you had for your filming! I can remember going into Eastbourne town centre with my parents, in the middle of winter in the mid 70's. My one abiding memory, is of the bone aching cold wind coming in off the sea! Seeing this, has me longing to go back and visit all the old places again. I was christened in St Elisabeth's Church in Eastbourne, and I always wonder how my parents managed to arrange it there, when we actually lived in Witney Oxfordshire at that time. I so want to go back now!
St Elizabeth's used to be the first big landmark coming into Eastbourne on what was then the number 15 bus from Herstmonceux as a child in the 50s-60s. I think St Elizabeth's has now been demolished (Friends from Gore Park Road, backing onto the big cemetery next to St Michael's church, used to go there).
What a beautiful video. Stunning route indeed. I have never been to England before
What perfect, crystal clear picture quality! I feel like I am travelling on that bus.
wow the views are beyond stunning
I’m watching this in the desert in Qatar. So many great memories of Brighton and the UK. You don’t know how good you’ve got it until you move I can tell you.
I really enjoyed that, great weather, and a walk down Eastbourne pier, what more could you ask for. Thanks for posting that.
Beautiful scenic bus ride overlooking the street view of Brighton and Eastbourne. Tnx4sharing full watched.
👏😊👏 ... Amazing... 💓💓💓
Beautiful and scenic bus ride! Especially loved the ending, with the stunning view of the sea.
I now live in the midlands with some right sorts. Miss my Southerners, this is great thank you.
Thank you for these wonderful views!
Omg, I need to go to Brighton, such Beautiful views
Thank you for this lovely view of the South Downs, It has made me feel rather home sick. We visited the Berling gap, Beachy Head and the Bell toute light house on our last trip over there in 2018 and it's nice to see it hasn't changed any. Wonderful.
Think you might be surprised how much of the cliff edge has gone over the last few years. Fell very fortunate to live here.
This has to be the prettiest bus ride on UA-cam. Thanks for videoing it.
Hola. Fantástico el viaje en bus. Hermosas vistas del campo y del océano. Muchas gracias
De nada. Vivo en Telscombe.
A real treat with fantastic views……thank you so much…….but I still enjoy your London guides which never fail to excite…..thank you so much for all your wonderful journeys.
Thank you so much! This was a beautiful ride! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Brings back memories, I used to drive for Brighton & Hove back in the 80s.
Más vibrante que Mar del Plata en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Este lugar es mágico!
What a lovely journey. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. It was almost like being there.
Visiting Brighton on holiday this summer so we are now definitely going to do this bus journey......beautiful scenery and a nice way to spend a few hours!
Lovely!
love all the convertibles on the road, very vacation-y! what a great route, thanks!
Great video; It brought back memories from 1986 when I cycled this route; a fantastic road to cycle on.
I lived in Brighton almost 2 yrs, my college was in newhaven, i used to travel everyday from newhaven to Brighton for job enjoying the best ever scenic view of my life......
Eastbourne windy as per usual. I like Eastbourne and the surrounding areas. Eastbourne’s pier is not as elegant as use to be , but it is gradually improved after the fire. Sad about the hotel fire, too. In about a couple of years the area opposite the pier will be back to its former glory. You should do a Beachy Head bus trip from the pier.
My father grew up on St Anthony's Hill (now surrounded by the spread of Langney) and my grandmother always said there was the 'right' side of the pier (westwards - Grand Parade, etc.) and the 'wrong' side (Seaside, etc.).
@@luath5579 Definitely. And taking that division point inland, everything west of Terminus Road/ St Anne's Road, ie. Old Town, Meads, etc is noticeably more upmarket than what lies to the east.
Wow kagaganda nag view
Thank You. Brings back Memories. 🙏🦘🐨🇦🇺
Wow amazing scenery look like you had a nice trip ..I hope you enjoy your trip ..thank you so much for sharing..
This video clip is my favorite. What a fantastic job you did!
Wow! Coast ride!! Awesome!!
Wonderful trip! Got a lot of fun, thanks for the job!👍👍👍
Thanks for posting this brilliant video. We really feel as if we were actually on that bus making that journey! Brings back good memories from when my brother and I walked along that coastline in the 90s. I remember the Seven Sisters were a bit of a challenge, its easier by bus and even easier still by UA-cam!
wonderful/ thankYOU.
Great scenic tour had so much fun thanks for sharing loved it💕😍👌👏
Really nice ride, thank you so much for dragging us with you.
waw ...amazing
I like that you show us more than the London bus routes.
And now I have seen what I missed in 2018 when my trip to Beachy Head was spoilt by heavy fog.
This is the most beautiful route.i find it enchanting and it recalls so many memories.the cliffs at saltdean are spectacular.thank you.
Wonderful coastal landscape on the south coast of England. Never been there until now, have to organize a 3-week roadtrip to England and visit these great places. Thanks a lot for the video, greetings from a fellow roadtripper and creator from Germany!
Walking on the pier was a nice finish to a delightful trip. Thanks!
Excellent video, well done. Met my wife to be on Eastbourne Pier in what was the ShowBar (1972). The Pier has certainly changed. Lovely all round journey, thank you.👍
amazing view
Thank you for posting this it brings back memories of childhood riding this route on the top deck I used to love being able to look over the garden fences
Excellent Video! My first ever ride on the upper deck windscreen view. Absolutely fantastic. Thanks for sharing. 😊❤👍
Watching a scenic views on a bus on my 65” 4K TV while lying here on my bed …. wow this is a next level experience. Thank you for this great video. Hopefully there will be a VR version in the future. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻
Beautiful 👌 😍
Brought up in Seaford in the late 40s and lived there until the 1970s. My Father worked at Newhaven Docks and Brighton. Went to College in Eastbourne. Entering Seaford the coach came in on the new road> i remember that road being built. The Southdown buses N.12 went past the shops on. the right. I lived about 200 yards on the left off Blatchington Road. Just visible. What memories you brought back. So many thanks. I shall watch this video many many times. All those houses built on fields when I lived in Seaford. Used to go there to pick mushrooms with my father. EXCELLENT Video!!
Very beautiful view
Great video 👍👍👍 ciao from Italy 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

I can't get away from my landlocked town for a holiday currently but have always loved this part of the country and am grateful to you for providing a mini-break for me to enjoy. Lovely video. Many thanks.

Lovely relaxing video. Makes me want to visit Brighton again.
Awesome scenery. Best bus video to-date
and the wonderful BUS DRIVERS.
beautiful
thnx for bringing back my memories to Brighton, Marina bay, 7 sisters etc…
Thank you Zim for this! Your channel is my mums favourite-she cannot travel much but she loves travelling through scenic interior places.. Such simplicity of content but has such a beautiful impact and brings the family together. Better than watching movies.. Your videos give my mom and rest of my family such a beautiful feeling. It feels like travelling with my family to all these places.. Thanks :) Hope you always have motivation to create such beautiful videos. Whenever you feel like stopping, remember, there are people far away from you felling happy by what you do! Loads of love from India!
Thank you for sharing this video. I am living overseas and have a great love English countryside especially East Sussex. Being so far away it is comforting To have videos like this one play when homesickness Happens. Once again thank you
Thanks john powell for watching! Another bus video will be up on the channel soon, covering Dover to Rye.
Thank you for this video. I've watched it a dozen times or more. Thnank you.

Oh, so nice!
Super👍👍👍👍👍👍
What gorgeous green grass.
I watched up to 25:53
That's my stop.
Cheers.
Good walk.
Yes, this is a charming route. I have driven it many times in the past, maybe one day I'll take the bus so I can enjoy it more.
Wonderful journey, as if being on board.. Thanks for uploading such a nice video..!!
I lived in Eastbourne for many many years... Residing at 9 Austen Walk in Langney and working for the then Eastbourne Waterworks Company in Waterworks Road now Gosdens as an HGV and Plant Fitter... It was a beautiful town which held many fond memories for me... The memories are still there however as for the town... Alas beautiful... Not anymore...
why?
@@londo776 You have a brain, finding the answer should not be too difficult...
I agree, Peter. It used to be lovely.
@@luath5579 but I still don't know why you two say that, but I've got a sneaking idea why you think that it's not very nice
@@londo776 We're probably just resistant to change. Eastbourne has grown enormously since I was a child.
Very good thanks!
Thank you.
I love that part of the world!!
Many thanks for a fantastic video, we took the very same bus ride in 2019 , the weather was very hot just like it is at present ,I would normally drive everywhere when on vacation, but we took the bus to many nice places using our senior’ travel passes, Regards Brian Young visitors Brighton from Formby
