when u have something better than a 1030 its better to keep native because something less than 1080p will not make any difference, less if u use 640x480 or 800x600

Mano, ainda tá sobrando muita gpu e bastante cpu, recomendo colocar um 1024x768 que vai ficar um pouco melhor para os seus olhos e a perca de fps não vai ser grande, ou até mesmo pode não ter perca de fps, já que nem GPU e nem CPU estão em seu total uso

i get like 300 fps native but my laptop is rtx3070 and i got 165 hz so i got it capped
stretched i get like 350 or more depending but in creative i get like 500 native

@@Danskuz you are cpu bound in that scenario, to put it into perspective, I rocked an r5 3600 with a 3070 and got 150fps in mega city, upgraded my cpu to an r7 5800x3d and got 700fps same area, same gpu

bro when i load in the game im already halfway across the map on the bus and all my settings are at the lowest but i still crash
what are your pc specs? you can check from task manager (ctrl + shift + esc) under performance. I have a 1060 and a i7 8750H and i can get from 90 - 120 with some tweaks like disabling preloaded assets and direct x 12 shaders in the fortnite options in the epic games launcher

i was getting 180-200 fps at 1080p with i5 11400F + gtx 1650, there was no need to use those crap textures
you know this wont help fps, your running performance mode, so turning down the resolution will make such a miniscule fps difference i really dont get it

Brodie you need to either clean, optimize, or invest in some better cooling... Or do all. An i5 10400F paired with a GTX 1650 should get this fps in 1920 x 1080. Your missing out on a lot of potential

Why do you play on that resolution ? It doesn't make sense, your GPU is only using 30%, if you play on 1080p you probably would have the same FPS.

Fortnite is a cpu based game
to shorten my explantion, you will not have any problems with a 12 gen i5, if you do then just turn down some settings (if you want a more in dept explanation then read the long response)
bro the other people are wrong, a 12 gen i5 will do you good with a 4050 even if you have a laptop, you could also be sure to check how much herts your cpu gives out (mine is a i7 8750H and it only gives 2.2 ghz but a lot of 12 i5s give more than that, note that any i7 is not better than every i5) i have a 1060 and an 8th gen i7 and i can run between 90 - 120 with some tweaks
