"Vatapi Ganpatim" is a traditional composition in indian classical music. This composition is in Raga Hansdhwani performed by Purbayan Chatterjee on sitar and U. Rajhesh on mandolin in Hindustani and Carnatic Indian classical style where Satyajit Talwalkar flips from Teentaal (16 beat rhythmic cycle) to Adi Taalam (8 beat rhythmic cycle) and back on Tabla.

What an amazing recital of Raag Hamsadhwani in both the Carnatic and Hindoostani styles by the great maestros. And holding this all together is the gifted tabla player who seamlessly switches between Teen Taal and Adhi Taal. Goddess Saraswati indeed has conferred her blessings on these supremely gifted musicians.

I am wondering if these pieces are available on CDs or Spotify? You Tube has an uncanny propensity to insert ads when one is immersed in enjoying such belong lovely recitals.
And on that note it is a shame that this recital has only 15-16k views. Such recitals and artists of this caliber merit millions of views. Perhaps a sad state of affairs when folks are glued to nonsense on WhatsApp, TikTok or Instagram
