Great fishing. My last day on the river was a blank! No bites on a gin clear river. The final kick in the teeth was some idiot copletely wiping out my door mirror unit and not stopping.! Oh well roll on spring, sme sunshine and some good lake fishing. Stay safe and thanks
I cast mostly in the same way as normal, but be prepared to stop the reel as the heavy feeder can pull line and 'over cast' leaving you in a tangle. A gentle under arm usually does it for these small rivers!
My favourite videos, don't stop !
Thanks! More to come!
Top danglin'.. good to see my old reel get a decent workout!
It gets a clean and rigged up occasionally, perfect for ledgering on light tackle!
Great fishing.

Love these centrepin videos!
Centrepins are a great way to fish! I have one more centrepin video to edit from a few weeks ago so keep an eye out for that!
Really enjoy your videos , keep it up ,cheers Mike Higgins
Thanks Mike! Plenty more to come over the next few weeks.
Great videos Ewan.
Fished a similar sized venue on the same day.
Had 10 chub best 6.02 & 5.05
A proper haul there and some nice weights too!
Some lovely chub young man and well done ,,, how do you cast a feeder / ledger with a centrepin reel ?? Would love to try that method 😁👍

Not a bad end to the season given the weather. I was lucky enough to get a 7lb barbel out of the Derwent on the last day after a couple of blanks.
Fantastic, a winter barbel is always a result!
Where abouts is this?
