The key to an infallible and absolutely indestructible FG knot is to fully pull and cinch down the first 4 sets of wraps. Like tying a mini FG and then continue with the rest of the knot. When this is done, it will not fail. The line may break but the knot never will. Plus you only need 8 to 12 wraps total. Making the thinnest knot even smaller and easier to cast
you are the first person I have watched that ties it right, form the knot 1 half hitch then tighten then finish with rizudo finish it makes it much better for casting....
Great tool. A good tip is to finish the knot with a risotto finish rather than a series of granny knots. It's a lot more secure and doesn't suffer fraying .

Hi Richard, When tying the knot the multi speed version allows you to control how fast the tool works. We found it easier to use as you can control the speed in turn making it easier.

Quite interesting. I enjoy tying knots as odd is that sounds so it's not for me but I know people struggle with the FG and other similar knots.
