    We Finally made it to the U.P. last Year to take in some Trail Riding!
    We Rode Pine River Trail, then after that we Stopped at the Tahquamenon Upper Falls, Very Beautiful!
    We Will have to get back up there Again this Year!
    And do some more Exploring!

    My mother who would have been 99 years old TODAY, 2-3-21 was one of the original employees for Iverson Snowshoes back when it first opened in Shingleton, MI.

    I'm originally from escanaba Michigan built a fixed all the gas pumps up there and built gas stations and I'm down here in Florida now with a broken FEMA retired I can't wait to go back to escanaba we kept our house up there cuz so many people told us to because if you sell your house you have no place to come back to so we listen to the wisdom of the older people kept her house my dad and I worked on the build and we are going to enjoy going up there this summer we've had some problems with their health and my son and so we haven't been back and I have a camp up there and I just miss all that and my wife gave me for information to go back up here because I am totally tired of hot humid weather down here in Ocala Florida nice talking to you

      Emery... I left Michigan as a teenager to go into the military. Spent six years in there, and then came home and swore to myself I would never leave Michigan. I'm still here :-), like you I have experienced the Heat and humidity of Florida, and other Southern Coastal States & while I believe there is natural beauty everywhere, nothing compares to my home state. Love it here. The seasonal changes, mostly mild weather lol but it has its Fierce moments. I'm not a yooper, but it makes it a lot more special when I do get the chance to go up there. When I was overseas I learned that living in Paradise, ruins it. You take it for granted in many ways. Paradise is a place you need to visit occasionally, and appreciate it that much more
