I just LOVE options like this in shooters - adding the shop and its art etc. really does prolong a shooters life.. I still really enjoy straight arcade shooters but allowing you to advance a little more every time keeps you trying.. The video of the 'robot' playing is a tutorial - there is one for each level.
Notice how attacks are more effective when closer to enemies, also he avoids attack better moves very fast, and suddenly he moves slower when having to avoid blue laser balls, he is most likely using a fighting stick, which would be better. And waits for the right moment to use the tornado purple laser to gather as much enemy bullets to counter at enemy, very well played.
Me and my buddy got real good at this stupidly difficult game and came to realize it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to beat it without dying. In the tutorial for every level it shows you how to win without dying, BUT on level 5 even the tutorial ship dies bahaha loveee mars matrix
All I'd like to say is the place that you're buying your games from Mark, is a wonderful place if you're getting the kind of prices you've mentioned. I just came back from Game Over Video Games, here in Austin Texas. I'm not paying 12.99 for Superman64. I'm just not. I did buy a new Black transparent DC controller, but the D pad sucks, especially when playing Soul Calibur. Keep up the review Mark, please, I need more games to try out =)
dont edit station-1 fell jealous about Dreamcast, cuz it can do so much stuff, like in E-station-1 u play space invaders, and in dreamcast u play fking mars matrix. hes sucha emotional computer
The most hideous title screen on the Dreamcast: Mars Matrix. It makes you think your vision has become that of an octogenarian, regardless of your actual age.

Yeah, I wouldn't even bother trying to 1LC, but a 1 coin clear on defaults is totally feasible!
