Great video and Well done on facing your fear of water you cannot see through! (I have the same fear!) Happy with water just not the murky kind or being out of my depth or in middle of the sea and cannot see past your chest! Let alone the bottom! Very good reason we have that fear I think!! Lol 😅👍💪😎😁🏴🙏 We done though! And good video. Cheers from London England 👍
Wooooow thank you Sorelle, I am now a skill share student🤩 OMG a will not be able to sleep🙈 but I have to cause I need so much to learn. Ah anyways, just thank you❤️

The Fear of Regretting is what made me start my own business. I didn’t want to look back at the end of my life and regret that I didn’t take the chance. I guess it could be the same as “YOLO” or “FOMO”, but ultimately it was facing fears and doing something I’ve never done before. SO GLAD I DID!!!
I also did it! And 10 years later, it is a success story. But the thing is that, the stress during 10 years is been so hard... Anyway, i m very happy for the things i learnt, and the Team we built
Taking a bath in the Aussie outback known as a place that has a lot of dangerous and lethal species is definitely a proof that you can deal with your fears. Hats off!
I literally had this come to me last night! The world is fast changing and I want to be able to be "financially free" to be able to have as many options as possible before it's too late.... Thanks you Sorelle for the genuine LOVE you put out. May you get the same if not MORE back in return ♥
I’ve always seen fear as an indication of the things you value. Most of us fear death because we value being alive, most of us fear being judged because we value our connections, etc. Oh, Sorelle. I’ve missed your energy (and your great hat!) If this is the last video this year before Christmas (and if you celebrate it) then have a merry, sunny, hot, Australian Christmas! ☀️🎄
Fear of having nothing and letting love ones down is what drives me forward every day?! I’m not well educated. I was always told I would fail at everything by my peers, teachers too?! Until my late Grandfather told me you must learn from failure dust yourself down try,try again. I walked out of school zero qualifications I failed my first business through naivety and learned from it?! I’m now a proud owner of two Gardening companies. Fear & determination drove me to success.

I really needed to hear this today! Woke up this morning doubting myself and what I’m doing right now - definitely fabricated fear. Your Video gave me strength & inspiration! ❤️
I love the way your videos are so unique and different from all the others. Every video feels so fresh! It's also energizing to see so many people trying to conquer fear. I've also been tackling a lot of fear in the past few years, especially months. One thing that has also worked well for me is to close my eyes and ears, pick the smallest, easiest step to start with, and charge through it. Action cures fear in an instance!
This was definitely a confirmation to continue my journey. I’ve been an on & off UA-camr for 3 years. I didn’t do what I really wanted to do 100% til literally yesterday, I posted my “first” video I really wanted to put out : lifestyle including my lettering murals. & I feel sooo good. So good I didn’t care how many views it received the first day. I only cared about moving forward to the next project/ product I put out to the world. Thank you Sorelle 💛
I've been trying to create passive income through youtube by uploading at least 1 video every week. I've been going for 2 years without missing a week and I'm only make 40-150$ a month. It's so discouraging sometimes.
Hi, I think that community posts pop up randomly on yt users and maybe you can use them to "sponsorize" your vid. Like Sorelle, that everytime that post a new video posts also a community post related to that video. Wish you luck :)
A recent Altucher podcaster mentioned a video going viral after a long time and people that liked it saw all this other content and watched it too. It may never happen or the next one might be the one that amplifies all of them
Making fear your friend, building up that fear tolerance such that it’s becomes comfortable, and distinguishing between physical survival fear and emotional fear. Brilliant and fun take! Loving you and your content sorelle!!
As well as moving away from fear, I've learnt to step away from comfort, and the illusion of comfort as well. It is all too easy to spend money going out, socialising, reading stories out in bars. But it isn't good for me any more. I quit reading at venues last night. I'm done. It's of as much use to me as is sitting in a pub. I'd rather be working. I was going to do one final gig and make it a big one, but that just seems like a waste of money and time. Poetry is too political, people are so one-sided. There is hardly any art to it any more. It's got boring. I realised my audience is somewhere else, and it's actually easier to reach them by just staying at home. Really glad you posted this, it's perfect timing. Thank you :)
I keep hearing this repeatedly that the difference between normal people and the millionaires, is that millionaires are more risk takers ( or less afraid to take risks) compared to most people, this video confirmed that claim for me even more... thanks for the advice about overcoming fear Ms.Sorelle & great video 😁❤️
Majority of them are also from families where they can get support from shound anything go wrong. Or they become millionaires over a couple of decades of investing and being very frugal.
I went in the US Army at 17, just a punk with an attitude and a C student in school. One thing a certain drill sergeant told us was that fear is evil and you must conquer and remove it's presence. That stuck with me for 35 years. I've been in situations where immense fear could've literally killed me or had me kill someone. I once had a gun stuck in my stomach and I carried my Glock 26 in the small of my back, which I had a CCW for...I very quickly, but calmly reacted by knocking the guy's arm away and drawing my weapon giving the guy a chance to decide if he was going to reengage his gun on me. Luckily for him, he didn't and just turned and ran. I believe he probably didn't have any bullets loaded in his gun, but he wasn't counting on me to produce a gun either. Fear could've killed me or easily killed him. The police when questioning me, asked why I didn't fire my weapon at him. I said I thought he deserved a chance, but really it was that lack of fear that kept me from pulling the trigger. Most people faced with the same situation with a gun on their person would've fired if given the chance, the police told me this and I would've been in the right had I done that. I don't subscribe to using fear as motivation or turning fear into something positive, that might work for some people, but I'd rather not invite (intentionally or otherwise) fear in.
I can't even tell you how much I enjoyed this video Sorelle!!! From the location, the information, to you freaking out in those murky waters!! 😅 everything was just incredible! I've learn a lot from this! Im actually learning to be OK with fear... I'm scared, but im doing it anyways 😉 Thank you so much!
Thanks! I'm currently working on saving so I can leave my 8-5 job and work on my stuff more. These videos remind me that I'm not crazy... and I should keep going.
I am SO happy I found you! You are insanely inspiring, and it feels amazing to have someone speak about the things I align with so much. Your guidance in these videos is incredible, and I'm so excited to be a part of this community!
I'm naturally a quite person especially when it comes to people I don't know and talking in front of more than a couple. I've always been quick to think of my ideas as dumb, not creative or worth anything. Putting myself out there in generally is really scary to me. But to achieve my goals of starting my own businesses and being part of a friend's business, and to gain financial freedom and freedom in general, I've had to make myself step out of those fears and insecurities. What I've learned and has helped is learning new skills, which has given me the confidence to become more creative and voice the ideas and new skills I've learned. It does take time, I've been working on this for a couple years but full time over the past four months. It's life changing once you overcome the fears that hold you back.
Im 20 and fresh out of graphic design school, now taking a digital content course (youngest and least experienced in the class) and starting searching for internships and i am absolutely terrified. Terrified I won’t be picked due to lack of exp., terrified of the thought of having to be able to get and keep a job and terrified of growing up. Half of me wants to grow up, get an apartment, get a job but the other half of me wants to never grow up. Guess thats just part of your early twenties hehe. But you Sorelle have seriously been a huuuge motivation for me, watching your videos and seeing you succeed truly inspires me. Thank you :)
Ok I honestly have to ask, first of all I love your content and will always watch. You are obviously a self-aware human, how much has your beauty been able to give you a leg up in situations where all other factors being equal, would have not happened to a person of lesser beauty? I know it's a taboo to bring up physical appearance, but it is wired in our core as people and whether we admit it or not, it influences how we respond to situations/people.
There is a term in Buddhism, adding wood to the fire. It sums up exactly the point of your video. By summoning the courage to face what you fear is the best way to grow Beyond that inner boundary that is set by the mind. Good for you for encouraging your audience to think about the nature of fear and why we should have a deeper understanding of what it really is and not let it control you. You rock Sorrel!
Wow!!! I didn't know that you're creating music :) I've been listening to some of your videos, and they are truly amazing and passionate. I think I have a great story to tell about fear, but maybe in the next comment. Thank you for your work!
Thank you so much Sorelle. This video is God sent! This year I have been going through a crisis with my parents because I have decided to quit my ob and start my own business. I have noticed that these last months their fear and the things they have been saying to me has kind of paralysed me. And I have started postponing things I scheduled months ago because I was affraid that may be they could be right with no legitimate reason. People are loving the products I offer. Until now, no one who has ever tested my product has ever disliked it. In the contrary people are thrilled after testing it but still the fear through the words of my family members has started becoming a weight in my life. Sometimes they were looking at me with pity. Can you imagine your parents and siblings looking at you with pity because you want to start a business? Sorelle thank you again for this video. I really needed it.
I actually started doing "fear-setting" recently without knowing there was a name for it! It's something that's finally got me to start learning app development (I'm a software engineer by day, procrastinator by night), because the fear of "what if no one uses it?" was finally set straight by the fact I could make it for myself and a friend and then at least there's 2 people using it! Great video as always Sorelle, do you have any particular videos addressing this idea of gaining your first (10?) customers? Thanks!
I have always loved water, one day I jumped off the face of a cliff into a deep pool like that and tried to find the bottom. It was dark and disorientating, I almost drowned. I still love water with renewed respect.
I've had crippling anxiety for the first time in my life this summer and fall where I can not go out, I feel disassociated 90% of the time, and have lost all sense of independence. But my biggest fears are ones that will not kill me or hurt me long term. I'll say them in the off chance this helps someone else; getting sick while in a situation where I can not easily leave (airplane, hike, travel), spiders (specifically in spaces I can't run away from them like a car or shower), and being terrified to go and terrified to stay and miss out. None of these things result in my dying. For sickness, I would sit down untill I feel better. For spiders, I would find a way to kill/remove them or myself from the situation. For missing out, I would just go and not worry that I made the wrong decision, trust myself and my body. I heard this somewhere, "You have made it through every single thing you thought you were not strong enough to make it through. Be proud of yourself" and it's been a mantra or meditation anytime I feel nervous. I just say, "you have made it through" until my anxiety comes down.
I adapted this from Frank Herbert author of Dune. Fear is a mind-killer, a little death that can bring total obliteration. I accept my fear. I notice where it begins and where it passes through me. When it has run it's course I will turn my mind's eye to see it's path. There I find healing.
A successful businesswoman I know once explained a very useful approach to leaving one's comfort zone to me: commit to stepping 10% outside of it at a time; any more than this at once, and one is likely to feel overwhelmed; any less, and it's unlikely to be a meaningful exercise. Of course, how to measure that 10% is another matter...
All emotions are key to self-knowledge and well-being, whether they are pleasant or not to feel. We unfortunately live in a society where you don't learn to recognize them, give them space to be and even less to be processed and expressed. Plus, we are ruled by this dictatorship of positivity. "Don't cry, it's gonna be fine", "don't shout, you're embarrassing me", "you've got everything to be happy, why are you sad" are all cursed sentences that push people to bury their feelings and become time bombs instead of simply sitting with those and learning to name with accuracy, accept/welcome and process. It's a pity. Thanks for this video.
in my village we have a lake and also i cant see the bottom and my friends told me that im afraid to jump, well i didnt know what is there in the bottom so thats why i dont jump but instead i went into it slowly till i found out that my fear is unnacessary. and same to the business we shouldnt jump into something without enough KNOWLEDGE!!!....as you said its ok to be afraid but we should identify the fear and deal with it properly...thanks for the valuable videos that you make, keep up and wish more success!😊
I've been watching your videos since the very beginning and I just wanted to let you know I love your videos! Everytime you talk I feel more free and understood. I love your normal channel and I have been in charge of my finances since last year and through informing myself I found out I love finances and I now see it as a strength of mine and a part of my personality. As a woman. Without shame. Love you. Rock on ❤
In order to embrace the light, we must acknowledge our shadows. No matter how many times people tell us this and we forget, still, it will always remain..✨ stay strong, beautiful souls With Light, Angel 💫
Congrats enduring the murky water. I like the idea of fear setting. Especially if it is part of necessary business/life goals that must be realized. One beginning step for me is daily cold showers. Mostly over a year. Winter time is far more REAL than summer. For me, the benefit mainly shortens the Just Do It conversation in my head regarding other things.
Wow you are an inspiration! Thank you so much for this wonderful video, I think I’ve just fallen in love with life. I mean I just love how you’ve just went full awesome on this short film!
I'm doing it. I'm chasing my dream of becoming a doctor, and I am already taking pictures and planning videos. Soon I will be buying a camera, and I am going full bore into this. You have really inspired me, and showed me that it is possible, and that I can do it. I wish I would have found you before. I'm already using the information that you have presented and now I just have to keep with it. One of my favorite quotes from Doterra is "Success is Scheduled!" They mean it as you have to put things on your calendar and do them (which is also valuable), but I take it as success is inevitable. As if you cannot escape the success that is coming your way. You have only to accept it into your life. Thank you so much for all your hard work and effort! Your messages are a game-changer!
Social media. It terrifies me, and I did the whole social media thing for a business fail. I haven’t done personal social media since I realized that half the people I knew had appalling views of the world back in 2016.
Great video! It does feel good to do the activity and emerge on the other side, realizing that the consequences were imaginary, highly unlikely or so small and insignificant compared to the potential benefit of doing the activity. just DO IT!
2:18 "We are not our thoughts" thank you so much Sorelle, what you say has a lot of sense. Can we please have a video about the topic "Niche" please, I would love to hear what you have to say about it, thank you! I love you btw
There are Good Fear & Bad Fear! Good Fear is an inborned Six Sense that steer us away from eminent Dangers , like sticking out our heads while driving or standing too close to a loosen cliff or buying that Risky Stock or Property or our Guts telling us to leave this Abusive or Toxic Relationship before it is Too Late! Bad Fear immobilized us of doing the Good Chores we supposed to do! So in conclusion >>> Respect our Inner Six Sense to Avoid Dangers & Write Down Notes & take baby steps to accomplish those needed to do List! 🙏 Respect & Salute to Sorelle for braving the Australian outback that full of Poisonous Creatures! Thank You So Much & Stay Safe & Be Grateful Sorelle! 🕯🌷🌿🌍
i've been working on a "fear form" for overeaters anonymous step 4 of the 12 step program for months now. i have felt a bit afraid of even finishing the form! this video has helped give me a boost of confidence to tackle it. thanks as always sorelle!!
For me it's not so much about fear but acknowledgement that people actually do not need things, more info etc. We have already exhausted our nature, anything we produce literally and very directly feeds this current deadly system. What does it mean becoming rich? Do people really need more money, stuff? What people need is to become aware.
I love how you actually faced a fear in this video!!!! You are adorable! :) and what you say is absolutely spot on about fear and making it a useful tool/friend. :)
Oh wow. Watching your video, I found and liberated a fear in myself that I hadn't realized before. I'm starting to make youtube videos and i felt resistance to continue during the last days. When you shared your theory about fear from an evolutionary perspective, I thought that I don't fully agree with your take - and suddenly it hit me how that is just okay and not a problem! Here you are, obviously doing amazing and I find your content super valuable, even if I feel that there is something 'wrong' in it. I feel scared to put up content that is not entirely correct. So, dear fear, it's okay even if what I share is not entirely true - it's enough to speak from my truth of this moment and it's valuable to share my perfectly imperfect thoughts as they are. (Not gonna share what I disagree with as that doesn't even matter for this lesson :) )

Sorelle, this was epic! I love your ideas and surprising presentation, no spoilers here, hehe (gotta watch it to see). Loved how that water reflected in your hat and created a whole other energetic light-buzzing universe - or brainwaves. Whether it's opening a business or walking into what you can't see, it can all be scary. Thanks for your great videos xx :D
Thank you for this! See you face a fear definitely inspires (I have a hard time in murky water too and I ain't a newbie to nature survival)! 😉 Well done!
What you focus on you will create. Focus on your fear and it will arrive. If you are afraid of mice or spiders they will show up because you are looking for them. I look at fear as sign to get/be prepared for the next step. It is magical when you have pushed through the fear prepared.

Making fear your friend is such a great tip. Instead of trying to numb and avoid your fear at all costs, I say embrace it. Understand it.
"Embrace it" sounds even more of a positive way of putting this!
Dont make "fear" your friend. "Love"yourself, embrace and transcend your fear. Between Love and fear only one is real. What did Seneca say? Good luck.

It's no secret that beauty gives an advantage, with this being said, it is not determinant. Cheers
Beauty by it self is not really a leg up to any place worth while I think. Not ugly + intelligence + character will win every time.

Do tell it. It’s a video about conquering fear, the ideal place to learn from each other's stories about fear 🤗 Share it
Thank you so much Sorelle.
Thank you sorelle,
I've been in such a strange state, wondering what it has been all along.it has been fear.anxiety.
No more.
❤
I actually started doing "fear-setting" recently without knowing there was a name for it! It's something that's finally got me to start learning app development (I'm a software engineer by day, procrastinator by night), because the fear of "what if no one uses it?" was finally set straight by the fact I could make it for myself and a friend and then at least there's 2 people using it!
Great video as always Sorelle, do you have any particular videos addressing this idea of gaining your first (10?) customers? Thanks!
Same. I called it 'the worst case method'. Came up with the idea around mid July of 2020.
I have always loved water, one day I jumped off the face of a cliff into a deep pool like that and tried to find the bottom. It was dark and disorientating, I almost drowned. I still love water with renewed respect.
Nice video background friend!
This is so inspiring ❤ you've explained the concept of fear so well! Thank you!!❤❤
Anytime you want to make music, I'm happy to help. Thanks for all of the wonderful advice over the years!
I am 57 and male and I can only say, Yes you are right, very much so..
Sorell, you are so on the money with this video. As always great information.
A successful businesswoman I know once explained a very useful approach to leaving one's comfort zone to me: commit to stepping 10% outside of it at a time; any more than this at once, and one is likely to feel overwhelmed; any less, and it's unlikely to be a meaningful exercise. Of course, how to measure that 10% is another matter...
you're AWESOME Sorelle and I am soooooooo happy you are in to syntropic agroforestry!!!!! thanks for being so fun and spontaneous woopwoop
Love your video! This is so true. One of my favorite books is feel the fear and do it anyway!
YES!!!
I was actually afraid of watching this video. I’m glad I watched. It helps me with mindset. Thanks.
I'm so glad!
ty so much for the video! I'll do my best to deal with fear from now on 💚
in my village we have a lake and also i cant see the bottom and my friends told me that im afraid to jump, well i didnt know what is there in the bottom so thats why i dont jump but instead i went into it slowly till i found out that my fear is unnacessary. and same to the business we shouldnt jump into something without enough KNOWLEDGE!!!....as you said its ok to be afraid but we should identify the fear and deal with it properly...thanks for the valuable videos that you make, keep up and wish more success!😊
Differentiating REAL FEAR vs. FABRICATED FEAR is a good advice 😍 Every business owners must know this! Thank you so much!
You are truly the best. So grateful for you.
I adore you! I adore the various elements of this video!
No matter how many times people tell us this and we forget, still, it will always remain..✨ stay strong, beautiful souls

💫
I love how you presented this video
Great instruction! Fear is our greatest enemy-Over coming our fear’s is liberating!!
Thanks for the motivation Sorelle.
Social media. It terrifies me, and I did the whole social media thing for a business fail. I haven’t done personal social media since I realized that half the people I knew had appalling views of the world back in 2016.
Great video! It does feel good to do the activity and emerge on the other side, realizing that the consequences were imaginary, highly unlikely or so small and insignificant compared to the potential benefit of doing the activity. just DO IT!
My new favorite youtuber
I feel so much comfort listening to you 😌 I’m going to become successful so I can leave this system. I’m suffering so much and just want to go home.
Love that point of view.
This is a gem of a video!!
2:18 "We are not our thoughts" thank you so much Sorelle, what you say has a lot of sense.
Can we please have a video about the topic "Niche" please, I would love to hear what you have to say about it, thank you! I love you btw
I need to re-watch this video like once every two days till I get comfortable and confident with it. 🤩
You have no idea, Sorrelle. No idea. I need to hear this daily.
Giving an example of fear and conquering it in the video is a smart move!
I am forced into facing fear daily… I’m a mom. 😁
Love the video!! ♥️
With all the wisdom and content, it is almost possible to miss your great smile.
I love watching all your videos as soon as they come out!
Yay! Thank you!
Thank you for talking about fear. I say that it's important to know our fear so we can use it for our advantage.
For me it's not so much about fear but acknowledgement that people actually do not need things, more info etc. We have already exhausted our nature, anything we produce literally and very directly feeds this current deadly system. What does it mean becoming rich? Do people really need more money, stuff? What people need is to become aware.
From video to video I'm getting more and more amazed by you !
loveee your energy and grateful to have found this community
Starting with a Seneca quote. This gotta be good.
I love how you actually faced a fear in this video!!!! You are adorable! :) and what you say is absolutely spot on about fear and making it a useful tool/friend. :)
Thank you for explaining the mechanism with history of humanity. Fear makes so much more sense to me now.
Live Long and Prosper Angel!
Sorelle, you're amazing because you're helping us be amazing. Thank you!
going against the grain and doing something like quitting a 9-5 is our modern day saber-toothed tiger 😂
(Not gonna share what I disagree with as that doesn't even matter for this lesson :) )
ok, I just subscribed after binging on your videos over the 2 hours.
I’m dyslexic and read that as “Eat the rich!” 🤣 love u Sorelle!

Such a great video! Thank you for that!
I liked this video a lot. Thanks for sharing your insights.
Mahn you're so brave. I just kept thinking "what if there're snakes under there. 🙌
Thank you for this! See you face a fear definitely inspires (I have a hard time in murky water too and I ain't a newbie to nature survival)! 😉 Well done!
Awesome! Fear has owned me, and I am turning the tables and owning it.
Primordial survival&gathering
What you focus on you will create. Focus on your fear and it will arrive. If you are afraid of mice or spiders they will show up because you are looking for them.
I look at fear as sign to get/be prepared for the next step. It is magical when you have pushed through the fear prepared.
This is a great LIFE lesson!
BEAT THE FEAR!
Indeed!
YAY! I love the "feel the fear but do it anyway" I book I never read that changed my life anyway
