I don’t go for pockets on anything…they always add bulk to my hips…as most of them sit oddly at the worst possible place on the hips
I agree. This obsession that people seem to have with pockets drives me insane. They do add bulk, don’t even like them on trousers and usually end up having them sewed down
Totally agree about pockets,I avoid where ever possible, they aren't flattering at all ,just create bulk.
I sew them closed.

It looks like a shirt from upper and may have buttons from the front like a shirt till the end of the dress
