After scanning the vehicle this code was retrieved #130304 #Vanos,Exhaust: Control fault, #camshaft jammed.
After checking various sensors I have concluded that the oil pump wasn’t producing Enough oil pressure to the cams.

im having similar problem and the balancer is noisey during idle and low oil pressure during idle only.did the balancer also make a knock sound during idle?

Hi ,only if the chains is been stretched it can cause a slight knock,as for the low oil pressure the oil pump can be at fault
