- A great night out ! I'd only gone to video dressing room stuff and ended up doing a bit of the show as well . Thanks to Bob Wilson for the sound and Dave Price RIP for out front camera work .
I saw the SGB at a local venue, must have been around '73 - '74 time, it was a good night, and we even got to have a little chat with them after the gig
Saw them at Coxes yard in Stratford upon Avon and they were supported by Stonefoundation. 2 great acts on in one night 👍
Was lucky to see them support Ted Nugent of all people back in 1977, maybe 76… in Cardiff.
I went out and bought the two albums they had out at the time.
And I still play them.
Sounds great 🏴
Was the whole gig recorded? Would love to see more!
Saw Steve and Co , at cox's yard one night . Steve went down in the bunker that night in appreciation , Came from canada to see the band 😂🍺🎸🇨🇦
OH to have been there.
Is there any more footage of this gig anywhere?
Saw them many times around Brum in the 70s 😊
Strictly speaking, the original bass player was Bob Griffin, not Trevor Burton.
Strictly speaking, the original bass player was Greg Masters , not Bob Griffin or Trevor .
@@reedsby1 ah...I didn't know that, I only remember them from when Bob was the bass player.
Incognito days ? @@blossie33
@@reedsby1 yes indeed 👍 ...and the Railway and the Barrel Organ 😄
This takes me back to the seventies when we used to go to The Railway pub in Curzon Street every Tuesday to watch Steve and the boys
I missed this reunion show but was there for ‘The Original Steve Gibbons Band’ recording which was subsequently released.
Saw them at Lincoln Drill Hall in the 70,s, great band 👍
Caught the Steve Gibbons Band Supporting The Who In The 70s ..Brilliant!👍
