Ooo, I'm glad to hear that Lancome wound up at the top, but I was also wondering about the Dior Forever Matte! I like the new bottle/cap/logo design on the new YSL ... it better reflects the YSL glamour than the old one, IMO!
I have never tried anything from YLS, but this looks pretty nice. Armani has always been my go-to foundation brand but I'd like to try other luxury brands. Luxury brands do tend to go heavy on the fragrance compared to high end and drugstore brands though
I'm trying to find my perfect foundation. I just ordered Rare Beauty, Patrick Ta, and KVD Apple Balm. After I try these I'll definitely try the YSL. Unless one of these blows my socks off LOL. It seems like there's always something I don't like about foundation and when I do find one I like the season changes. And oddly enough when the season changes, so does my face. I'm dryer in the winter, darker in the summer, always something LOL! Great video! I've come to love these videos on my quest for foundation.
Out of the 3 you got my pick would be the Patrick Ta one. The KVD works sometimes on me and the Rare never really worked that great for me. I hope you have a much better experience though! 🙏🏻
@@boomer527 Do you ever mix your foundations? I really want one I can use on its own but either the colors/undertones don't work, or is too heavy, or not enough coverage. Always something. But if I mix all the failures I get something brilliant. Color matches, feels great. I'm starting to think I'm just going to always have to mix too get what I need. If these 3 fail me I think I'll just mix and that'll be that LOL!
Hello first time on your channel loved that we wear same shade that helped me ❤ also I would love if sometime you would do a comparison between double wear from Estée Lauder and this one from Ysl. I believe that it would be interesting ❤

Do you live in a dry or humid area? If you live in a more dry area hyaluronic acid isn't a good idea. It draws moisture out of the air but if there's little to no humidity in the air it will draw it out of your face. Also I'd look up other reviews of people with drier skin reviewing this.
I actually think this would be a good one to at least get a sample of and try. I didn’t see it clinging to any texture on my skin and I wore it again today with no issues. I think if you use a good hydrating primer you should be ok with it.
This isn't a foundation for me, which is just as well - I have just over 100 foundations, 4 of which I haven't yet tried!!!! I think I'm good for a while 😉😅😅 I absolutely loved the eye look you wore on day No.1. It reminded me of an aubergine 🍆, gorgeous 😍 Love ya loads 💜💙😊💙💜

I like it better too! This foundation is right up there with Dior and Lancôme but I think Lancôme beats them all by a millimeter 😊.

This is a nice one! The Givenchy Skin Caring Matte and Dior Forever Skin Glow are nice options as well. I still think the Lanocme is a bit better!

This foundation didn't last 3 hours on my oily skin even in the UK cold environment :(

I'm dry skin and was wondering if this would work on my skin, I can wear some makup made for oily skin I just use a good moisturizing spf and primer
