I DO support all plant acquisitions. The reasons for acquiring are not always just for pleasure. There is serious study and exploration of different species😉 You have helped me to see my own recent purchases as being more in the light of ‘personal growth.’😂 I hope u feel better soon.
Full support, Miro! It was a great decision - the only sane one to make - about the philodendron! I looooooove hoyas, but I guess you’re right… we all need a “balanced plant collection” and 98% hoyas to 2% other seems about right 👍 So I’ll keep watching. Hope you’ll get better soon - and just let the ranting loose! Love your rants!
I'm really loving the new setup. Seeing you surrounded by your plants just works! I have 1 begonia, so I support your purchases as I am begonia curious now. 🙃
You did absolutely terrific job, offering shelter of your own home for these poor plants, you are blessed! Mother Nature will never forget your kindness and sacrifices on hoya sides you are making) Honestly, not to get that philodendron would be the most regrettable decision in your life 😂 Keep up, Miro!
Fabulous feel good video Miro!! It was a f a n t a s t i c & wise decision to get those plants!!!😁 i would have absolutely done the same✨ life is too short to be sensible all the time…..
I support your plant habit because I have problem too. Over 650 plants at the moment but I have a very nice Greenhouse in my yard, So that helps. Enjoy your new babies!!
Les goût pour les plantes,ça ne se discute pas. 😊😊 Ne soit pas gêner ou mal à l'aise, tu as le droit de trouver à ton goût n'importe quel plante. Prend soin de toi et de tes beautés.😊😊
Getting rid of some 'but not really to increase the other plants' is my kind of denial. Admit it- it certainly won't look right leaving a spot empty? Once I re-opened the gates to non-hoyas, my eyes start wandering like a serial cheater. And after a neighbor gifted me a beefsteak begonia (though I cringed when I saw them approaching the house with it)- I love it and want more. Bonus that it loves being treated like a hoya -- in pon and a s/w pot.😅 Your new plants are lovely!!
Hi Miro 💫 I absolutely cracked up laughing when you said I have a few aroids - 3, 4, 10 🤣 Love it! I am wanting to try and get a Begonia Amphixous but shipping that fragile plant scares me. I do agree your Joepi was warranted and shall live happily with you. Sending healing prayers your way. 🙏🏻💫
I have a vert very small philodendron joepii which I love do much. Its doing well and I am a full advocate of them I do enjoy watching you justify your actions. Least its not just me and I thank you
Fellow bare vine syndrome suffer here 🙋🏼♀️ The julau is stunning. Definitely great decision and I support the diversification. My goegoensis lives just in standard room environment so terrarium not necessarily needed.
I love begonias and african violets. They are like hoya in a lota ways. They bloom, they are succulent, and stay relatively small. So what is there not to love. I also have a Joepi. Yours is nicer, but mine will catch up. I understand why you couldn't resist it. Will watch you no matter what you decide to do. I am a big fan.
I'm late watching this one, it's been on my Watchlist while I debated trying begonias again - but now I will! Your plants are beautiful! Great video as usual. And you're just now telling us you collect tropical epiphytic cacti? Please make a long video showing all your epiphytic cacti! And if you grow Epiphyllum or Hylocereus, please tell us how their care differs from Schlumbergera in your climate! If you ever decide to try African Violets again, using a 90% perlite mix in a self-watering pot is a game changer 🙂
I failed with many terrarium Begonias , Melting ! However Julau is the one that never lets me down although it’s always in a terrarium or tent . Easy to prop and beautiful. Keep propping if you want that beautiful bright color as it matures it loses that . A Julau jungle , how exquisite Also the begonia Amphioxus I am able to keep alive as well .
Begonia's love pon! So if you have problems with watering, pon and a selfwatering pot is definetly your go to! Don't clean the roots, just put the roots with the soil in pon. No reservoir at first....... 👍
Thank you, Miro! ❤🙏🏽🌸Love the variety! As a bonafide Plant Ho-I do not discriminate and love all plant babies, even the ones that hiss at me in fear when I’m near them and their atavistic memories of my previous abuses and transgressions toward their ancestors get triggered!😂😂
Great unboxing, love it! Those begonias are gorgeous, I need some! Begonias are very beautiful and interesting, glad you will be doing videos on them. Thanks for sharing and happy growing. 😊 Miro that was an excellent decision to get the p.jupii, great plant and if it makes you happy then that's what matters and I'm sure you'll make place for it 😊😂
Miro, if it helps, I have a Begonia ‘Partita’ that is only happy in pon, so semi hydro may be the way to go to solve the watering issues. I am not judging you either about the joepii! Feel better
Hey Miro! Great video again, thanx 😃 Have a tip from own experience about the Aglaonema (if you want it 😉) . Mine have never propagated in water. But perlite.. everytime! Treated it like semi hydro and worked like a charm. They seem to love it. Hope your cutting roots and grows well, because it's gorgeous!! 💙
This was a great decision 😂 No, seriously, it's always fun to add new challenges and variety. I love your new additions. I have more hoyas than anything else but I'm a sucker for aglaonemas and succulents. They spice things up in my collection and I get to try different care routines.
Great decision on the philodendron jopheei (sp). I would get that. I found a Florida green because I love unique philo leaves. Heard the philo tortem is being sold at box stores here so I will be getting that. Of course Hoyas are my number one so if I find any reasonably priced I buy them. Tfs
I also got a Begonia sp. Julao recently. A couple of months ago for me. I wish you much more luck with yours than I have had with mine so far! 😅 When I CAN get them to grow well, the leaves are stunning, so probably worth it.
I don't have much luck with Begonias at least trying to grow them indoors. My indoor growing environment may be too dry . Interesting that you grew a begonia in perlite & leca though!
Greetings from Duluth. It’s nice to see other plants besides Hoyas, but I’m still putting my bets on Hoyas. In 2024 I want to put my efforts on the many Hoyas I have and try to make them grow to the max. Have you set any 2014 wishes into place. That make for a good video. I’m in St Paul having driven down here for the Thanksgiving holiday. Unfortunately, I came down with COVID the Sunday after and have been here ever sense 22:04 Will drive back on Friday and hope my Hoyas haven’t taken a dive for the worse (I put them plastic bags to retain the humidity before I left. Kind regards. Pam
You are a better man than I. I dipped a toe into Begonias and they irritated me to no end and they ended up over the back deck. You did pick some lovely plants to jump back in with. I am judging you though 😉
I got a hoya fungii x carnosa plant. Do you know if this has been named? I saw something about a Colonel Meekins? I could not find a picture of the flower. Doug didn't mention it so..........help.

Your new set-up looks good and makes a great filming space.
Some begonias look prehistoric - love that.
I love begonia Rex. They are so pretty. The colours are stunning. I must get some more to start growing them again too.
Full support, Miro! It was a great decision - the only sane one to make - about the philodendron!

Guess who made the best decision EVERRRR?!!!! You did Miro 🎉🎉🎉😉. Love all your new plants ❤

👏👏👏👏 I love Begonias! ❤❤❤ What a great surprise! OOOooooooooooo! 😮
Lovely Begonias. Congratulations on your purchase
Yes Miro, this was a great decision! I’m looking forward to your next videos complaining about being sick. 😷🤣😂🤣😂Seriously, hope you feel better soon!
Fabulous feel good video Miro!! It was a f a n t a s t i c & wise decision to get those plants!!!😁 i would have absolutely done the same✨ life is too short to be sensible all the time…..
Miro, that was the best decision you ever made, purchasing that plant, all of them as a matter of fact! You are wonderful and you are amazing!!. 😁😁😁
I love all the beautiful plants, it was definitely a great decision
I support your plant habit because I have problem too. Over 650 plants at the moment but I have a very nice Greenhouse in my yard, So that helps. Enjoy your new babies!!

Have a couple of begonias, they are pretty, almost gentle.
These were stunning

That Joepii is outstanding! ✨💚
You’re insane 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for this, brightened my day!

No judgment here! Great haul!❤
I love the new set up. You may feel like your further away from the camera, but it is actually perfect. 💓
You are “branching”; (hahaha) out. Lovely choices😊
Can’t wait to see the begonia-rrerium!
You are really, really good at plant math 🤣🤣🤣
I have a vert very small philodendron joepii which I love do much. Its doing well and I am a full advocate of them
I do enjoy watching you justify your actions. Least its not just me and I thank you
that philodendron is beautiful 😻
Yes.
Sneaky commenting this when I am sick so I don’t see it. Cccc.
I am on a begonia kick myself. The leaves are so stunning.

Love, jopeii, it really was a good decision. Such a good price . Enjoy all your videos. You have taught me soooo much in my plants journey
My favorite line...'just a few, less than 10'. 😂

Oh tortum is lovely. I have one and I love it. I support your decision to get it! :D
Great job!

i like you and your decisions
I don't have much luck with Begonias at least trying to grow them indoors. My indoor growing environment may be too dry . Interesting that you grew a begonia in perlite & leca though!
I also have added a begonia to my hoya collection..not a Rex.. a fern leaf. Begonia bipinnatifida...so my journey begins..lol
Miro. Even I gave up on Begonias. ME. 😭
Now I went Begonias again. Thanks a lot.

Ah they were not so bad last time 😂 There are equally irritating Hoyas 😂
@@BasiePlants oh I am becoming well acquainted with them. Not to mention the Hoya that have taken a strong dislike of me.😁
I do love, love that joepii 😊 i have one so big & bushy but im not ready to propagate 😅😅
L💚ve from 🇵🇭🌱
Love it❤
I got a hoya fungii x carnosa plant. Do you know if this has been named? I saw something about a Colonel Meekins? I could not find a picture of the flower. Doug didn't mention it so..........help.
Ohh I love your math. Its just like mine lol
Philodendron Joepii 🧑🍳💋
❤❤❤
I can see/feel that every one of your hoyas are feeling cheated on. They cant understand the attraction. Btw, Miro that was a great decision…
Diversity is always good, and I love begonias even though I've never grown them. Do you still have orchids at all?
💚🌿💚🌿💚
I love your new babies.. but its not helping me to not go and buy my wishlist Thai.. feel better 💚
Miro, seriously another aroid….. what were you thinking?? Just kidding good buy!
What aroid? You clearly weren't listening. It basically doesn't count, so therefore it doesn't exist. You need to enroll my plant math class. 😂
😂❤😂
Bare vine syndrome!
It is a real disase for sure.
The answer is no lol
Miro, that is the best decision ever, that p. Joepii is perfection! 🥰🪴💚
