SPECIAL DISTRICT MEETING DECEMBER 3, 2024
To one of the Constables of the Town of Dalton: Greetings: You are hereby required and directed to notify the inhabitants of the Fire District of the Town of Dalton, qualified by law to vote on District affairs, to meet in the: STATIONERY FACTORY, DALTON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2024 AT 6:30PM Then and there to act on the following article:
ARTICLE 1. To see if the District will vote to appropriate a sum of money to borrow to purchase an ambulance including the costs incidental and related thereto, and to meet this appropriation, the Treasurer, with the approval of the Board of Water Commissioners, is authorized to borrow an amount up to $350,000.00 under and pursuant to Chapter 44, Section 7(d) of the General Laws, or pursuant to any other enabling authority, and to issue bonds or notes of the district therefore and to take any other action relative thereto. And you are directed to serve this Warrant by posting attested copies thereof as required by law, in five public places, fourteen days at least before the time of holding said meeting. Hereof, fail not, and make return of the Warrant with your doings thereon to the District Clerk at the time of holding meeting as aforesaid.
