- I know many of you have asked so I have now uploaded the full episode 13 years later of these 13 lovely ladies in one of my all-time favorite Maury episodes and they handled it like professionals. Remember friends, this was 1999 and we have progressed significantly since then and we still have a long way to go. Applaud these brave individuals for appearing on this show and thank Maury for giving them the platform to showcase themselves on national daytime television at a time when it was uncommon for members of the LGBTQ+ community to get any such airtime letting people who identify with them watching know that there are others like them in the world and Maury was very respectful to his guests.
If you don't already know the answers from the brief clip I uploaded in 2010 as to who was born male and who was born female, make your guesses while watching this video! Answers below!
Divinity (male), Shelby (male), Lolita (female), Kelli (male), Dina (male), Roxanne (female), Maya (male), Chelsea (male), Marie (female), Dorae (male), Sierra (male), Tiffany (female), Katrina (male)
Maury is so respectful. Ahead of his time.
They really need to do episodes like this again
Not in this era 😂
The small athletic asian girl didn't say if she was born a boy or a girl. Being married to a man doesn't prove anything.
Since same sex marriage wasn't a thing back then, being married to a man was proof enough that she's female.
Good point in today's time. But back then I think it was to be understood that she was a woman based on that. I knew it was a woman. Funny, in the 90s if you were a fit chick like that it was seen as manly. But today so many women are fit like that now. Crazy how much times have changed. But 25-30 years can do that.
Gay marriage wasn’t legal back then so she’s a woman
Gay marriage was illegal for a while, so i think that was her idea of proof
She’s a woman, gay marriage wasn’t a thing in the states back then
Awesome with a full episode! :)
On the topic, I wonder if anyone recall a "Man or Woman" episode that ran '95 and featured a bunch of club kids?
One of the club kids was a pretty petite black 'girl' with plastic blue pants, while another of them had an absolutely _huge_ Afro wig.
Rings any bells? o_O Have looked for that episode sometimes.
The respect this people have to call them She is giving like literally amazing
Not like
Is it me or was that girl in blue in the audience kinda jealous of Mauria?
This is when tgirl corn started getting more steam lol smh
😂😂😂😂❤
