    Back in the 60’s my grandfather used Dunnhill. It was good enough for JFK it was good enough for grandpa

    Nice shave! The Parker C/C head is much more aggressive than the DE89/R89 one. The blade gap is larger. I use it when I have 2 or 3 days of growth. As a note, the O/C head is less aggressive, but more suitable for heavier growth like all open combs. That's basically their purpose. Parker newer razors are better than Edwin Jagger or Muhle in terms of materials (brass instead of zamak) and the finishing on the same level (better than Merkurs that are very cheaply finished on the back/interior parts). Their quality went up a long way in the last 3-4 years. I consider more beginner, entry-level razors the ones from EJ, Muhle or Merkur instead of the Parker razors that are more advanced.
