Head to Pike County for the much better schools lower crime and less taxes , just 20 mins from Griffin.
I love Griffin. I’m from Atl so I know about the area and surrounding very well. Bought in May in N. Griffin. Very private and discreet. Prices still pretty good because people are still sleeping on it. Gonna get an investment piece next. Rent it out.

Born and raised, left came back. For years hated I came back. Just when I got my groove back that I can deal then the gangs, theft, school failures, sorry restaurants, bad customer service. Harassment from police which becuz of gangs. Nightly drive-by shootings. Welcome to Griffin!
What area in Griffin are you referring to? With it being a tri-county city (Spalding, Lamar & Pike Counties) I think giving specific context to location is important especially when your comment is super off putting to people trying to get an understanding of Griffin, GA as a whole.
@@raymondrileyjr just being honest but it goes from town to outskirt of Griffin. Not as bad in some areas but definitely hitting all of them. I hate it because Griffin could be a place to love and football season we all act as family....no other town can compare. "Some" of youth out of control but many crimes done by outsiders I hear.
Seriously could be one of the best place to live.
I have lived here my entire life and YES Griffin has the worst, gang's, schools, very few restaurants, no where really but Walmart to shop. If you look at the WORST Cities in Ga for Gangs and Crime, Griffin is in the Top Cities and Counties as The Worst!!! All the schools have gangs and are recruiting kids to join daily.

You just don’t live near north Griffin? Or Near the Locust Grove line? I truly believe its where you settle in Griffin that makes the difference. As I said in my pros and cons video Griffin has two different feels completely. Additionally, there are Tons of shopping options in North Griffin Square especially for a town/city the size of Griffin. Many Shopping options including Walmart, Marshalls, Ross Dress for Less, Famous Footwear, Hibbett Sport, and Cato Fashion to name a few. Dinning options in North Griffin includes Longhorns, Applebees, O’Charlies with many over 10 fast food options. Also about 21 minutes drive from Downtown Griffin, you’ll find Tanger outlets which offers over 30 different brands.
I definitely wouldn’t consider Griffin as the worst place to live in Georgia. But the beautiful thing about my channel I welcome everyone’s point of view.
@@raymondrileyjr I/We do and Always have lived in a Beautiful Area in Spalding County. That doesn't take away from the Gangs, Crime, Shootings, Bad Schools, Thank You... And we live on "many acres" of land! Where ppl around us have many acres of land to TRY to Keep the BAD OUT!!!

'yeah' guys come to griffin.. we have nothing to offer your kids beside high school sports.. and gangs are everywhere!.. if you are retired this is the perfect place for you!.. but if you have kids.. stay away if you love your babies..

@@raymondrileyjr Bro..this city is a great city for older people but for anyone who has kids and can't afford private school.. your kids chances will be very slim to make it out of here..there is some areas that is ok.. like sun city that type of gated community you may be ok..but anywhere in the city you're in trouble..hope this helps..good job bro...but griffin ain't it bro..i promise.
