“There is no room for debate” is an interesting way to start. This man doesn’t have the faintest idea of how to structure an argument and it shows. The whole world outside that chamber is subject to popular emotional currents and appeals to them. He comes off as an anti-intellectual, just my opinion. Also, he’s incorrect about killing civilians never being allowed. Those who believe otherwise are welcome to Google the Laws of Armed Conflict regarding human shields. You might be surprised to hear that hostage taking is, in fact, a war crime as well. Also the ICJ did not confirm that genocide is occurring, the court simply concluded “that it is plausible that Israel's actions in Gaza Strip could amount to genocide and issued provisional measures, in which it ordered Israel to take all measures to prevent any acts contrary to the 1948 Genocide Convention, but did not order Israel to suspend its military campaign.” The amount of effort it takes to correct the propaganda is exhausting. If they want to stop the violence then return the hostages and disarm. I absolutely hate that I feel compelled to take the side of Israel in most cases, as I’m no fan of its criminal leadership. Yes because if you activate the amygdala, the prefrontal cortex isn't working at full potential. Classic manipulation technique. People are so easily brainwashed
Being a Zionist apologist is getting increasingly difficult in spite of the efforts of the Zionist movement to cover the truth up. We all have eyes and ears and those of us who went looking for the facts know that Zionism is a lie based on the mythology of the Christian bible's old testament and was actually invented by Christian anti- Semites and extreme post reformation Protestant evangelism. That is why many Jews around the world reject Zionism.
Hey, maybe somebody can answer this. I’ve been asking for a while and I can’t get an answer. Gaza and Egypt share 8.5 miles of border. There was a plan after October 7 to evacuate all children, all women, and all men over 50 to the Egypt side. there’s about 25 miles of Baron land and they could’ve easily set up there, but Egypt would not let them in. Can anybody make sense out of this???
How shameless this whole event was. My heart is with the Jewish people that actually get accused of doing all the things the other side is doing instead. There was only one genocide happing on that soil and that was October 7th. How this speaker, with a straight face nonetheless, says that Hamas is not using their own people as human shields is just abhorrent.
@@josefwurzel5072 Not it really isn't. The Palestinians are the aggressor. The Hamases declared goal is the eradication of all Jews. You don't have to interpret single lines from single people to arrive at that idea, because it is literally in their very founding charta. Israel kills civilians by accident. Hamas kills civilians by design. Not just Israelis but also their own people. About 20% of the rockets they fired on Israel malfunctioned and went down in their own areas.
@@josefwurzel5072 No it's really not. In WW2 Germany lost more lives then Britain. Does that mean that Germany was right in their Genocide? Of course not!
@@josefwurzel5072 What an uneducated argument. How many Germans died versus how many Brits in WWII? Hint: A lot more Germans. Does that mean the Germans were the victims of a genocide? Does that mean the Germans were on the right side of history? No, it doesn't. You don't judge sides in war based on number of casualties. (Or perhaps you do only in the case of Israel, because any excuse to hate Jews is a good one, right?). Hamas started this war. They are on the side of evil. The Palestinians are victims of their own government. They are losing a war that they started. Perhaps they shouldn't have started it. End of discussion.
What actual point did he even make besides play victim? He said Israel shouldn’t bomb hospitals even if they’re hiding weapons down there but how else does Israel save its hostages. Don’t start wars you can’t win and then play victim
They surely do not save their hostages with bombs, i think we can agree on that. Israel has declined any ceasefire proposal, even when it was reported as one coming from Israel and signed off by Biden prior. We can only conclude, that Israel thus values the destruction of palestinian life over the lives of their hostages. How else do you reconcile these facts?
It is clear that the speaker is not familiar with debating. His speech is full of logical fallacies, and it may be emotionally fueled but that in itself does not make it right.
People love to talk about genocide the same as they love to talk about racism and apartheid. It is just mud for flinging to these people, an easy emotional ploy. Genocide is mass murder with the intent to eliminate an ethnic population. What Israel is doing does not nearly amount to that scale of carnage, nor is it ethnically targeted, yet the cries of their enemies to throw the Jews into the sea are what is being defended in the name of anti-genocide. They are hypocrites through and through.
He should read up on the Geneva Convention about storing weapons in civilian spaces. As soon as you do that, that area, hospital or house is not considered civilian any more. Think with your brain and look into the facts, not feelings.
Do you think he doesn’t know about the Geneva Convention?? Just like he said at the start, there is no moral argument that can support the violent acts Palestinians have experienced and are experiencing. Maybe a legal one, but not moral.
Also sorry we are human beings not robots and we, like literally every other living being, have to use our emotions. Like. Murder is considered wrong because we have emotional bad feelings when it happens. Every law we have is because someone felt some type of way the first time it happened. I just don’t agree with your writing at all.

"Indigenous Jews"? So why is it then illegal for Israeli citizens to take a DNA test in order to find out about their heritage? Please reply when you find out why.
@@peternordlander1239 The notion that it is illegal for Israeli citizens to take a DNA test to explore their heritage is often misunderstood or misrepresented. Here's a clarification based on available information: Legality of DNA Testing: DNA tests are not outright illegal in Israel. However, there are significant legal restrictions and regulations surrounding genetic testing, particularly for recreational or direct-to-consumer (DTC) ancestry purposes: Genetic Information Law: Israel passed the Genetic Information Law in 2000, which imposes restrictions on genetic testing. This law requires genetic tests to be conducted under the supervision of a medical professional or with a court order for certain legal proceedings like paternity disputes or inheritance. The law aims to protect privacy, prevent misuse of genetic information, and ensure informed consent and ethical considerations. Direct-to-Consumer Tests: Marketing and selling DTC genetic testing kits for ancestry purposes within Israel is prohibited. This regulation stems from concerns over privacy, consent, and the potential misuse of genetic data, but also from cultural and religious considerations, particularly regarding the implications of genetic testing on Jewish law (Halakha), where issues like "mamzerut" (illegitimacy) could affect marriage and inheritance. Controversies and Misconceptions: There's been significant debate and controversy surrounding this: Cultural and Religious Reasons: Some argue that restrictions might be in place because DNA tests could potentially challenge traditional Jewish identity, which is based on matrilineal descent according to Jewish law. There's a concern that DNA tests might reveal non-Jewish ancestry or create issues related to the religious status of individuals, which could have implications for marriage, conversion, and other religious practices. Privacy and Ethical Concerns: The restrictions also reflect broader ethical and privacy concerns about genetic testing, similar to those in other countries like France, where there's caution about how genetic data might be used or misused by corporations or governments. Practical Implications: While there are restrictions, individuals can still undertake DNA testing for medical reasons, research, or legal purposes under regulated conditions. For heritage exploration, Israelis might purchase kits from abroad or have tests done when traveling, although this circumvents local laws and regulations. The Chief Rabbinate has controversially used DNA testing in specific cases to verify Jewishness for religious purposes like marriage, but this is under strict legal and rabbinical oversight. In summary, while DNA testing isn't illegal per se, the restrictions on how and why it can be conducted in Israel are significant, driven by a mix of privacy concerns, ethical considerations, and the cultural/religious implications of genetic heritage in the context of Jewish identity. These laws reflect a complex interplay of modern science with traditional religious and legal frameworks.

Truly disappointing, if there is actually people that ask for that man’s views on anything.
Not worth listening to. Same old lies
No facts of genocide, but a sentiment over a war.
It’s madness that as a left winger I’m expected to side with Hamas supporters. Intersectionality was appears to have been a grave mistake, and socialists should have rejected religious fanatics and nationalists out of hand. Shame.

@@josefwurzel5072 Not it really isn't. The Palestinians are the aggressor. The Hamases declared goal is the eradication of all Jews. You don't have to interpret single lines from single people to arrive at that idea, because it is literally in their very founding charta.

This is a poor format. Speakers should be challenged on their propositions, especially when making falsehoods
How does he explain the growth of Arabs in Gaza.
That doesn’t mean Israel want to expel them from their land
It is clear that the speaker is not familiar with debating. His speech is full of logical fallacies, and it may be emotionally fueled but that in itself does not make it right.

Then why didn't the organisers call him out then ?
Genocide genocide genocide genocide genocide. You did not even understand the word itself.
They are hypocrites through and through.
do you?
Oh look, someone is hurt by the truth.
Like. "Indigenous Jews"? So why is it then illegal for Israeli citizens to take a DNA test in order to find out about their heritage?
Please reply when you find out why.
@@peternordlander1239
The notion that it is illegal for Israeli citizens to take a DNA test to explore their heritage is often misunderstood or misrepresented. Here's a clarification based on available information:
Legality of DNA Testing: DNA tests are not outright illegal in Israel. However, there are significant legal restrictions and regulations surrounding genetic testing, particularly for recreational or direct-to-consumer (DTC) ancestry purposes:
Genetic Information Law: Israel passed the Genetic Information Law in 2000, which imposes restrictions on genetic testing.
Controversies and Misconceptions: There's been significant debate and controversy surrounding this:
Cultural and Religious Reasons: Some argue that restrictions might be in place because DNA tests could potentially challenge traditional Jewish identity, which is based on matrilineal descent according to Jewish law.
Practical Implications:
While there are restrictions, individuals can still undertake DNA testing for medical reasons, research, or legal purposes under regulated conditions.
@@peternordlander1239 It's not illegal, the law you are talking about bans doing paternity tests without a court order.
