LightWELD - LightBOT Co- Robot Sample Welding

Introducing the LightBOT Co Robot welding system, a co robot system using IPG LightWELD laser welder with FANUC CRX co robot. The LightWELD is made by IPG Photonics and the CRX is from FANUC and designed to be 8 years maintenance free.
Video shows the IPG LightWELDER with new LightBOT interface to FANUC CRX 10iAL co robot. The CRX uses a unique time line programming method where the welder moves the laser gun by hand around a part and swipes up icons onto a time line to tell it what to do. It can also be programmed using a traditional tree line method or off line using options FANUC Weld Pro virtual reality software.
The LightBOT SYSTEM is retrofittable to all existing IPG LightWELD hand held lasers.
Unit can be switched between hand held laser welding and co robot laser welding within 5 minutes. The user can decide if hand held, co robot, or a combination of both methods is most suitable to a part being welded.
The LightBOT is available from Serra Laser Center and includes training at our Anaheim, CA LightWELD training and test center.
