I genuinely reccomend playing ultrakill. It’s one of the most engaging and fun games I’ve ever played.

@@alixandreenova8911 you can use the piercer revolver (the blue one) to pierce both at the same time if you like your shot up.
You can also projectile boost your shotgun pellets (parrying after firing) which grant explosive damage to the parried shot. The green mode fires faster, so it’s more ideal for constant parrying.
You can also quick swap when using the shotgun (fire, swap to other variant, fire, swap to previous variant) for rapid shots that melt enemies.

@@alixandreenova8911 violent makes hard damage (the gray part of your health bar you can’t Heal) stay around longer. The higher your style meter is, the quicker your hard damage disappears
(Keep in mind the weapon style multipliers- the more you use one, the less score you’ll get, so swapping up weapons regurlarly helps. There’s also multipliers for sliding if I’m correct.)
One other thing with the statues: that ball attack where it sends out a shockwave that damages you? If it hits the wall, it’ll travel up and down the wall, not horizontally. If you see it winding up for that, get to a wall and then dash away as soon as it throws

The slow-mo is actually from the parry mechanic :D
Basically in the original game you currently have two melee types.
One of which is the Feedbacker! A melee type that allows you to Parry both Projectiles and Enemies.
In ULTRAKILL, Enemies can be parried if their attack flashes Yellow.
You can also parry projectiles! Which can result in an explosion followed up by blood if you hit a group of enemies.
Instead of a Slow-mo, you get a satisfying screen shake followed up with the pinging sound which gives you the DOPAMINE and the feeling of being powerful :D
But in the Mod, you can parry with either a melee or a GUN.
Though it ain't hitting the same as ULTRAKILL's
To put it simply
Original Game's parry
+ Parrying projectiles result in an explosion on impact
+ Parrying enemies would either result in an Interruption or the ragdoll flying into a wall at mach 2
+ *Dopamine*
- You have to use Feedbacker to do so
- You need Skill >:(
Gmod Version's parry
+ YOU CAN PARRY WITH ANY WEAPON MELEE OR NOT
+ What timing?
- No explosions or ragdoll flying :(
- No dopamine
I think in the original game you can parry with the Knucklebuster but you need to time it with the Knuklebuster's "Vine Boom"

@@XxDarkxMoth17xX To be precise, explosions in general can reflect projectiles. This includes the Knuckleblaster.
I suggest you get the mod called Mighty Foot. It adds Duke's kick from Duke Nukem, but it functions very well as a Parry attack.
Something wicked is a monster from a secret level in Prelude.
He is supposed to be spooky.

Ultrakill is more fun then DOOM tbh, because if you melee when they melee attack, it’s called a parry, this can be done with bosses too, it enrages them though, so beware of that! Edit 2: I’m gonna say it right now.. there’s style points if you change guns from time to time, and turn enemies into fireworks.

I’m a DOOM fan but i agree with this. My inner neurons have adjusted to the speed of ultrakill. DooM is anger, whereas Ultrakill is adrenaline.
The alternate guns aren't upgrades, they're side grades. They have certain benefits and weaknesses, like how the railguns green variant hits only one enemy, or how red rail gun cant pierce enemies and can hurt you

First, gm_construct got turned to an Ultrakill feature via the Sandbox mode
and now, Minos Prime got a add-on for Garry's Mod.
Perfectly balanced.
I honestly think it's genius that Minos Prime was the first Ultrakill boss to be ported into GMod. You get the choice between painstakingly working through blood, sweat and tears to get a perfect rank on every level, then beating an entire other boss in the form of the Flesh Prison, OR spawning him into a game where your default physics and combat abilities are NOT meant to fight him. Either way, you have to go through metaphorical Hell for the honor of defeating him.
Think theres also ultrakill playermodels
theres also the game's enemies as npcs!
Player models, gameplay mechanics, goofy ahh nextbots
What a sick boss fight! Though I can't say i've played Ultrakill, the weapons and mechanics would be enough to satisfy my fps needs
You should atleast try the demo.
The game is so good, that it makes me hard.

yeah but the weapons need to be waaay better and the hud's wobblyness is over the top, the only perfectly accurate mods are the blood mechanic, the playermodels and the npcs

If you time a coin shot right, it will do exactly that.

@@SpireGuy Just tested it out a bit, and it’s definitely wild. Putting Minos into fights with other NPCs, he flew across the map so far and fast I couldn’t even catch up

the frozen time thing is in ultrakill when you parry an attack and in the game it deflects the attack back at the enemy

Necro, there is also 2 major bosses you missed or didnt download.
Sisyphus and Gabriel.
Sisyphus is a boss, similar to minos prime which literally destroys you, so yeah be aware of that.
Gabriel is basicaly the antagonist? of Ultrakill, the boss of the bosses, he is an angel, sent from the commision of angels to imprison Minos Prime from his doings, you can fight him on P-1 Gluttony and P-2 in the last level.
You don't fight Gabriel in P1 or P2. You fight Gabriel in 3-2 and 6-2.

You got the coin system there wrong.
its not shrapnel, by some unspeakable physics in the game, your bullet will split if hit when the coin shines.
meaning that ultrakill never made sense the moment act 1 dropped in lol.

i strongly suggest playing on a lower difficulty due to the Difficulty of ultra kill until you get a idea on how your supposed to play the game
