    I was in Junior high school weight lifting club Arnald was the Man , I lifted hard for two years and eating everything in sight gained all muscle. It started in the career of hanging drywall, off and on I would go back to the Jim weight rm I was always in great shape, hiking, off road dirt bikes, road bikes, later in life at 34 , I saw Ronnie Coleman he was a mass MONSTER ! Fast forward , my spine disks went bad ! Like Ronnie I had alot of surgerys full cage , neck plate ! Now pain all the time, when the weather change comes in omg I hurt like hell,. Alot of body builders die young from the extream work they put themselves through. There's a price for everything . Live well don't over do it .

    We had three Marines in our unit who were near zero fat and too much muscles, and got put on weight control; usually, when someone got put on weight control that Marine is a fat-ass. But, not in this case, the reason is having zero or below normal muscle to fat ration is not good,specially during deployment. Well, we all saw it first-hand when we went to annual cold-weather training in Goosebay and later on to Norway, Marines with really low fat ratio were having issue functioning, due to little natural body insulation, faster rate of dehydration - and yes, colder weather will dehydrate you faster than hot weather, and your body just cannot sustain itself in extreme weather & high level activities. Your body will eat itself faster and breakdown.

      For most of my husband military USN-HMC career, he was stationed with the Marines. He did weight lifting and had enlarged muscles. His neck size is what they measured because his weight was always up, due to muscles weighing more than fat. One thing he learned a few decades after retiring from the military, is that all that high protein foods can lead to major heart valve failures. He had his main heart valve replaced, just a couple years before Arnold Schwarzenegger had the same surgery done.

They have to go through abbreviated Marine Corps boot camp to get them ready joining the Marine Corps Fleet...selection course for the Corpsmen who wanted to join the USMC Fleet...whatever we do, they do, too. That's why Corpsmen like your husband who wears the Marine Corps emblem on their uniform & ribbons are the envy of many Sailors. And yes, all the weightlifting, is not good, if not, a huge hinder when you get deplored. Thats why on our team, we do more cardio, pack-run, gas mask run, prison workouts, calisthenics...no weights - just all body weights.

    • @Mo-.
      @Mo-. 2 роки тому

      Yeah I thought it was that too. Varicose veins looks very different than how veins should normally look even at the body fat percentage as low as the guy had. But if it isn’t affecting his health then it should be fine

    • @liggerstuxin1
      @liggerstuxin1 2 роки тому

      @@Mo-. that’s true if it isn’t affecting their health. But I’m sure varicose vein‘s have some effect besides looking crazy and squiggly. A varicose vein is the destruction of the internal valves in the arteries and veins. Which means that the blood goes both directions instead of going one direction before being stopped by the “valve“ from swishing back to where it came from. The valves work kind of like a staircase where the veins push blood up against gravity. Eventually they go up to a certain notch, but then they are prevented from swishing back down, by a little safety device that keeps it from rolling back. Stupid analogy, I know, but valves are weird. And it’s weird that we have them in our circulatory system. You certainly don’t want them to be broken.

    • @Mo-.
      @Mo-. 2 роки тому

      @@liggerstuxin1 That seems quite threatening then, hopefully the dude noticed that isn’t normal and got professional attention for his veins if he is experiencing any other symptoms. I say this because varicose veins can often not be a serious condition and does not necessarily need to be treated unless there is additional symptoms with the look. Often it’s simply just more blood pressure in that area rather than being as threatening as what you described, since there can be numerous reasons for varicose veins and often it’s more of a cosmetic worry than an actual life threatening one

    Having low body fat is a good way to get yourself a cardiac arrest also a good way to get yourself a stroke a good way to destroy your kidneys and your liver.... You're better off having too much fat versus too little....
    As a former bodybuilder I used to read all of the muscle magazines back in the day up until just maybe 10 years ago...Andreas Munzer is the most ripped man I ever saw but little did we know how dangerous is fat levels where I mean he literally disintegrated his own liver and that's not only caused by the drugs that's caused by his lack of fat most people usually have an issue with fatty liver.... When your body doesn't have fat to burn it starts burning other things....
    The key is to be balanced and there's another thing not mentioned is a lot of these bodybuilders probably 70% get dangerous sodium levels and electrolyte levels to reduce the water within their body which also contributes to that ripped look.... And that's a great way to get yourself headed straight to the crash cart and to a pine box....
    The future of bodybuilding needs to be reared back into a healthy lifestyle with healthy levels of fat....
    I remember watching some survival show I can't remember the name of it on Netflix where they had to survive up in the Arctic Circle 100 days and the one that won the competition was the guy that had the highest levels of fat those people that were trying to just eat protein and low fat didn't make it very long and this guy won because he was able to keep his high fat content up compared to his competitors....
    Hi fat only becomes dangerous when you're not burning that fat and it starts to store everywhere it's the opposite of low body fat....
    But my God Andreas Munzers liver was literally disintegrating .... How tragic and how sad this is why bodybuilding needs to start in a new direction there's just been so many dead bodybuilders from such horrible unhealthy lifestyles and it doesn't look like it has changed... Helmut the guy in the beginning looks very sickly especially around his eyes...

    Lee probably has the best natural and healthy physique in the world for his genetics.Staying 3 months at 4% bodyfat when you have genetics that give a 7-10 naturally (believe or not, that was my case at 16-20 years old and yes, you are too skinny for sure) isn't nearly as unhealthy as taking roids and creatine all day. We should be pushing athletes like that and open a featherweight division in bodybuilding competitions where they can shine, instead of unnaturally weird and boosted bodies. I love his old-school aesthetic!

All the body builders and fitness coaches whose photos we see are purely for some hours for the photoshoot.
