France hasn't had wolves since the 19th century.
There are coyotes in my neighbourhood (Greater Vancouver region in British Columbia) and any free-roaming cats could become a coyote snack. So my cat is strictly an indoor cat.

@@fredericapanon207 Fair enough I complelty understand keeping them indoor if u live in a area with wild live that could turn your precious kitten into a snack,
my area is safe the only threat is stray dogs but they are usually too dumb and there is a lot of roofs and walls the cats have access to easy travel around the neighborhood without having to go on the floor xD, iv had a cat too she was actually a stray that I gained the trust off she was already used to being outside so we just kept her there , tho I used food to teach her where home is and it made me happy she learned to come to the spot I made when looking for me xD she was lovely I miss her

Cats do not think they have to limit themselves onto how many houses or people they own, you have no cat so now you belong to him too, haha. It's usually orangy boycats that think they need to socialize with as many people as possible my own cats are way more wary of strangers. Lovely corset and very pretty embroidery. I've seen machines like that used before and while it's faster it's also still really complex with al the thread tensions and patterning.

That’s very funny about the cat! I’m glad he has a good home but the fact that he’s going around the neighborhood getting pets and treats through trickery is just hilarious.

Definitley not hobbit - no hairy toes! I ran a commercial 8 head embroidery machine for a couple of years - VERY noisy and yeah, a real pain when the thread keeps breaking. You can get software that will convert pretty much any vector graphic file into an embroidery file (I used a free plugin called InkStitch for Inkscape - also free, with pretty good results) which will make creating your own designs a lot easier. If you are going to create designs that will be cut out and applied (like a badge) you really need to do overlock stitching around the edge otherwise you will get a lot of fraying and the stitching will come undone.
The final outfit looked awesome as usual and I'm looking forward to more.

    • @EllyseaAndDolls
      @EllyseaAndDolls Рік тому

Do you know the name of that software ?
Does it mean no need to use pe design anymore?? Tell me more please.
I can use Illustrator (I'm a graphic designer), I own a innovis V3 too, but I'm still stuck with me design which sucks and is very expensive, so if I can make my own vector designs and convert them into stitches with a plugin or software, I'll be the happiest!

I've done a bit of machine embroidery myself and the bird nesting in back can be caused (at least on my machine) by not pulling the bobbin thread to the front and holding taught for the first few stitches. I also found slowing down my stitch speed (from top speed to mid) reduced snapping a bit, and the noise. 😅

Ciao! I have a few tips for the embroidery!
The bobbin should be a thinner thread, special for embroidery machine, Madeira brand has this, it’s called bobbinfil and come in white or black. When embroidering use less tension on the top thread, I use 2 on my brother, this way the embroidery is more fluffy on the front and some top thread gets in the back fabric , this prevents the bobbin thread to show on the front. You can use also normal thread for embroidery but the best ones are Madeira rayon and Isacord ones, those are shiny and silky, also they are specifically thinner for the scope of having so much thread sewn as embroidery. You can also embroider on tulle or thin organza and cut out, they will be transparent feathery embroidery that you can use for fairy like effect. Ah! Also, you have to slightly keep tension on the thread when starting the embroidery, by holding the threaded top thread for the first few stitches, then you stop temporary the machine, cut the excess on the front and continue with the current color. This prevents the messy bottom and also the continuous thread breaking (this could be also the tension as I told before or could be also the needle, there are specific embroidery needles for sewing machines that have smoother needle eyes to prevent this). It takes a lot of trial and error but in the end the result is spectacular , I hope those tips are helping !!

I bought the Star Wars Brother embroidery machine at Gen Con and I still haven’t learned how to use it well. The bobbin thread always shows 😢
    Love the results for you!

Great hobbit outfit. You should look into doing an elf one sometime, too. You definitely could pass for an elf. 🧝‍♀️

OMG it’s so cute! You did an amazing job and the reveal was so joyous with the music and twirling! ❤You’ve inspired me to take deeper look at my machine since it can do embroidery with set designs or computer created ones!

That's so pretty! And the embroidery looks good quality. I see a lot of home machine embroidery that doesn't look worth the money, but yours is nice. Now I'm thinking of getting one.
