I love Cashmerette patterns so much! The Upton dress is my favorite regular pattern. The Elmwood pencil skirt club pattern is amazing! I've made 3 already.
They do such a great job! I haven’t made the Elmwood skirt yet. I’m hoping I have an occasion to wear one. 3?! It must be good!

I was watching Dizzy Quilts and Sews, and she is a club member also. I know they're having a special going on, and I'm debating whether I want to take advantage of it since I am so new to getting back into sewing.
I completely understand your position. This subscription is awesome for beginners because of the fit courses that are included. Even though I am not new to garment sewing I am new to fitting and fitting your body is one of the best parts about sewing your own clothes verses buying ready to wear clothing. The patterns are great and so far the majority of the cashmerette club patterns are suitable for beginners and intermediate sewists. Another great thing about the club is having access to a community of sewists that are also returning to sewing or new to sewing as well. Just like you. I think the reason I love sewing subscription so much is that not only do I learn a lot but I have access to sewing friends from all over. Sewing can definitely be a lonely craft but when you have access to people who enjoy it as much as you, it is highly encouraging. Not to mention the sew along videos. This subscription does cost a pretty penny even with the discount but if you take advantage of the courses it is well worth the price. Not to mention a new pattern every month. Buying just one pattern from an indie pattern company generally costs $10-30 so it is definitely a great value to get 12-13 patterns a year with the subscription. Especially since they come with sew alongs. I hope this was helpful.
Is the monthly pattern free, or is there a cost?
You pay a membership free to have access to the patterns. I believe you can pay one large amount or pay monthly. They just announce a Sloper School Fitting master course to teach pattern drafting this morning. Members get access to the fit school courses for free. There are also other freebies and discounts with your membership.
