just discovered Larry Graham didn't realise he is such a big deal. Explains why he is such a awesome bass player . Thanks for posting the video, interesting insights into the artist
He Change face of music 🎵 period and now so many have copies his style to this day wonderfully gifted and magnificent we like Sly too but if it wasn’t for sexy Larry Graham just a another house band
I don't know if that's great to bring up _now._ lol. Because you might have someone lurking around the corner going like, "Sometimes you gotta pop out and SHOW negus." Keep our Slap Bass progenitor FAR from that! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@talawa777 Nope, thumbing and plucking. Been playing bass since 1973, Larry Graham invented it. BTW Sly and the family Stone is from my hometown. Some goofy white dude thought it would be cool to rename it. But call it what you want, I'll continue to call it what Larry Graham called the technique he pioneered. Thumbing and plucking!!!!!

Graham-Hendrix would have been way out to another sphere of awesomeness! I didn't knew it almost happened.
Nice documentary. I can't say what my favorite Larry Graham bass line is, but I love the song " Hair".
Well - researched and presented! Thanks!

Perfect timing!
Cool video

That was delicious as a dessert or just as an indispensable olive in martini, at the end of the video says JH
Larry Graham…..Sly Stone ……Prince…..JuBu.🎤🎤🎤🎤
One more thing you also forgot to mention he's Drake's uncle.😃😃😃😃✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾
Don't mention that factoid, it takes away a bit from this legend. lol
