As a rock/metal singer, this mf is the godsend of clean vocals. Whenever we're practicing clean vocals, my instructor always says you should be looking at THIS guy. I rarely hear a track with truly flawless vocals, but this is just beyond perfection.

Pure raw emotion poured into this. I pressed play and the world around me went still, I almost forgot to breathe. There's very few songs that I've listened to in my life time that have had the same affect. Just beautiful!
You're right. Their songs speaks so much to me... They have such powerful meanings behind them which makes me love and appreciate the band even though they're underrated...
For those curious, go to the Starset concerts if you can. It's very much worth it. If you can score the VIP passes, even better. The band members are just the nicest people ever. The music and the special effects were just spectacular, especially for this song, and Satellite.

This song hit hard. I got a friend request on Facebook 5 years ago. He was the most handsome, adventure seeking, dare devil, and a gentleman. I’m talking a walking angel. I was 18, he was 23. We talked for a solid month. He said when he came home from his job on the road, he’d court me. He never came home. He was killed the night before we made plans to see each other. Sometimes I catch myself looking for him. My biggest what if. I miss him. To this day, I compare every guy to him.

I once listened to this over and over while staring at the night sky, thinking about a friend who I got too attached to. And he never really liked me. I couldn't listen to this band for a long time without thinking about him. Thankfuly, he's only a distant memory. I can listen to a few songs without wretching so far. A little exposure therapy is what I need, cuz genuinely this is good music.

I'm a devout christian and I always see God in their songs. To me these lyrics are talking about falling from faith and self doubt. But then he started blaming God for putting these walls up and he keeps trying to reach out to Him but the words only ricochet. The reason behind this is because he lost his faith and was struggling with self doubt. The enemy only had to say a few words to get him to fall away from God. So it wasn't God and the enemy only had to say few lies to get him to destroy his ownself, but then in the second verse he realizes that he put the walls up himself not God. And it was a tough season for him but in the end he took heart and put his trust in Jesus. In john 16:33 it says "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, I have OVERCOME the world."
As Christians we shouldn't blame God for the season(season is another word for a trial or test in faith. Read the book of Job it tells the story of how job overcame the enemy in his trial through faith in God) that we encounter in trouble times and the enemy will try you when you are weak in Faith. And get you to destroy yourself with the lies the enemy has told you Stay strong and fight the good fight of faith. This too shall pass. God does not hate you. He loves you! That's why he gave his son Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for our sins. He is our salvation! Also read 2 Corinthians 12:7-10! In james 1:12 it says " if your faith remains strong, even while surrounded by life's difficulties, you will continue to experience the untold blessings of God! True happiness comes as you pass the test with faith, and receive the victorious crown of life promised to every lover of God." Have a blessed day! Jesus loves you!
