I agree but Kelly plans it, maybe the kids should plan it for a change and make it day all about Kelly...is that what you mean? Great idea and beautiful sentiment.
Sending our prayers for Kelly Jo and for Evans Dad. Life is fragile, make the memories, I can't believe Layla is going to be 5. Hope Kelly Jo rests up and allows her family to care for her once. Hope you are feeling better Carlin.. And Evan you are an amazing dadda, don't ever doubt yourself.
Carlin, this is Angie from Jack and Jules in Knoxville. Absolutely the power of prayer. My husband just came home yesterday and told me that a doctor he calls on, his wife passed away this weekend from a dental procedure she had done and got an infection, and she turned septic and passed away this weekend. I’m so thankful your mom is OK because that absolutely could have been tragic. I truly believe in the power of prayer and I know God heard you all! Glory be to God and I’m so thankful your mom was healed.🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I'm so happy to hear your mom will make a full recovery. Contined prayers for Mama B. Evan, I'm praying you'll get answers for your dad. This video really hit home. We got a call Thursday about my dad, who lives in Pennsylvania, was admitted into the hospital with chest pain and very low blood pressure. He is 91 yrs old. Really puts things in perspective. I'm just starting my spiritual journey and giving it all to the Lord. God Bless
Oh dear Carlin...my heart is completely breaking for you. Sepsis is a nightmare. I spent 42 days in ICU with it and swelled to 225 pounds with infection. That was in 2009. I'm almost 62 years old now and fight with the damage from it daily. It's basically something I fight with daily. God kept me here for a reason and I thank Him daily. God bless you and Evan for your parents.
Same here Jeanne. In 2021 I had meningitis, pneumonia, and got sepsis on top of that. I was in a coma and on life support. My family wasn’t given much hope that I’d survive. But they didn’t know the Great Physician was on call! I spent 1 month in the ICU, then 3 months in rehab learning to walk again. It left me deaf in one ear and with severe balance issues. But I’m thankful and blessd
We’re all Gods children and we are all connected. Sharing in your glory and tears. God Bless you all. God is great and such a blessing to be in our lives.
I’m so thankful they are both ok, praise God. My husband almost died two years ago , we were eating lunch and having a great time and I’m telling you 5 min after we got in the car he started getting so sick long story short he had a 106.5 temp and was septic his kidneys were failing , we prayed soooo hard and the drs were amazed and he took a turn for the good. The Lord is so good!💜💙❤️
Mama B and Evan's dad are such precious souls. I am praying for a full recovery for both of them. God is good! Thank you both for being such an encouragement and pointing your followers to Jesus! Bless you both and your sweet families.❤🙏
This one was tough to watch. So glad your Mom is okay Carlin and that Evan's Dad will find out more info soon. Scary moments like these definitely makes you rethink and readjust your priorities. My Mom passed away in Oct of 2023. It's tough. I was crying when Carlin cried. Hug your Mom even more now and be grateful for the time you get to spend with her. And time with your Dad Evan. Our parents won't be here forever even though we think they are invincible. God bless you and your family and families
Not really...Carlin's just very dramatic. You take the same situation with a less dramatic person and you have a thunderstorm and not a tornado. My sister in law's neighbor was in the hospital before Christmas, they said she went septic and was dying, she was in ICU, a day later she was cured and put back in a regular room...who knows...
Seeing the pictures of your dad praying over your mom really moved me to tears. Your mom is one special lady and I’m so glad she is on the mend. I’m keeping both your mom and Evans dad in my prayers. God bless ❤
I cried twice, 1st with Katie’s Instagram post about your sweet mom, now your vlog about your mom and Evan’s Dad. Prayers for complete recovery of both parents, God bless the Bates family and the Stewart family. You will love the cruise, it will help relieve the stress.
Oh honey! I wish I could reach through the screen and give you a hug. It’s such a terrifying thing to see your Mom go through. I’m so glad she’s ok. It will take some time for her to get her strength back. Thanking God for the Great Physician.
Praise God! I weep with you and rejoice with you! I am a living miracle too of Gods good of his healing power! I had a kidney stone that turned into septic and I was pregnant too! Thank you God for healing Mrs. Bates!
Yalls family are such a testament to thousands of ppl showing how though things happen that are out of our control but our FAITH in GOD and FAMILY are so important. Know how scary thus was I've been thru multiple illnesses with my mom but it. Was GOD who sustained and keeping all of yall in prayer!!
Im watching now at 700pm in maine. Carlin im so glad made it through. I havento admit that im having a hard time listening to you talk of tour mom, my mom is in transition. Shes 91 and she been my rock all mt life. Long story. Add to that i lost my dad 2 years ago, and im an only child, to say i feel so alone is an undertatement. Yes our parents are so precious. Love ya sweet carlin
Y’all had me in tears this week. Thank the Lord that both of your parents are okay. Life is so fragile. Happy early 5th Birthday to your baby girl. Layla. Enjoy your cruise. God Bless you all.
I am so, so sorry to hear about Evan's Dad and Carlin's mom. Your families are an example of how to live a good, faithful life. How to treat others and have empathy, and always keeping Jesus first and living a life centered in Christ always. I will pray for your families, Evan's Dad and Carlin's mom and wish that each of their progress is in a positive direction. I love watching you and your little family every week - Layla and Zade are so loving to other people and each other - it is something that is not seen often - two wonderful little examples of how to grow up through Jesus and your faithful direction. All the best to you and your families - may God bless each and every one of you. 💗💗🙏🙏🙏🙏
Carlin, I'm so happy your mom is recovering. I started crying when you were telling the story, crying with you. The kind of sweetness in your mother is not the kind that can be faked for the cameras, she's so loving, patient and kind. Yes, God is good and with all the prayers being sent up to Him I'm sure he didn't have the heart to deny. Evan I'm praying for your grandfather that he will get back to normal soon. ❤❤
My mom had this 18 years ago from a kidney stone and she made a full recover and is doing fine 18 years later. I understand how you feel. I lost my dad 4 months before this happened. Praying for you all. You have me in tears carlyn
The old saying is when it rains it pours. I'm lifting all of you up in prayer and praising God for being the loving God that He is!!!!! Bless all of you ❤
I love you all! I will be praying for your dad, Evan, your mom, Carlin, as she recovers from being septic, her surgery to remove the kidney stones, and for strength and peace for all of you in the days ahead! God bless you all! 🙏🩷💞
I’m so sorry about all the sickness that’s been happening with you and your families. God is so good. A lot of times we don’t even know what He’s spared us from. We just need to praise Him for answering all the prayers. Hopefully this will touch someone that needs revival in their heart or someone that’s realizing how much they need Him. Love y’all. Prayers continue for everyone. 🙏❤️🙏
I’m always praying for all of you and all the different families . Layla and Zade are totally going to love the cruise. You absolutely didn’t cry alone . Wow y’all have been through it. Y’all are all in our continued prayers.
Omg, I'm crying my eyes out. I'm praying for Kelly Jo to have a speedy recovery. Also, I am praying for Evan's Dad that the doctors find the cause of his memory issues. Praise God.
I almost lost my husband to sepsis. It was a horrible experience and I thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving us a miracle. He survived due to God’s grace and I’m forever grateful. I’m grateful for the critical care doctors & nurses who worked so hard to keep him alive. The doctor told me in the ER before they sent him to the ICU that if we had gotten to the hospital later than we did he would have passed in the ER and he didn’t know if my husband was going to pull through. He said 24-48 hours before we would know. I thank God every day that he didn’t call him home. Now, every time he is sick I panic because I know how bad it can get. I truly think I have PTSD from the experience. My husband doesn’t remember most of his hospital stay and that’s another blessing. I’m praying for your mom and his dad. May God heal them completely. Take care and get some rest. You have been through so much in such a short time.
I was sobbing hearing about your Mom. Sepsis is the number one cause of death. I was obsessed with watching survival stories. And most people lose limbs, fingers, toes, noses. Thank you Jesus! Truly a miracle. Praying for your sweet Momma & Dad. God is so good!
Yes, our God is good!!! I lost my Mom when she was just 55 to breast cancer. I was lucky enough to be with her at the end. I asked her to save a pew for me, she then turned her head and looked out the picture window and smiled like she hadn’t smiled in months. What a blessing that God gave me to see her go this way!!
My dad had a very similar thing to Evan’s dad. He was eventually diagnosed with dementia. That was in 2012 and he was 79 years old. My dad started slowly losing his memory and was eventually diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. He lost a lot of his memory but he always remembered his kids. He lived until January 5, 2025 at aged 91. He had a great life and he loved the Lord so I know he’s with my mom and Jesus now! Praying for both your parents! They are still very young and you need them around for several more years!
Thanks for sharing. Sooo glad Kelly is ok. Yes. God is sooooo good!! All the time! So glad Evan's dad is doing better. Prayers for continued healing. Love from Kelly in MD.❤
I am so thankful that your mom is alright and I hope Evan’s dad continues to improve. This episode was so emotional but thank you for sharing it with us
That is terrifying!! Carlin I am so glad your Mom is ok, and Evan I'm glad your dad is ok!! I hope you guys have fun on the cruise for Layla's birthday!! You guys are the best.
I can’t believe Layla will be 5yrs old! Time flys! As an OF of your channel it has been absolutely a gift for your subscribers to continue to watch her grow up! You guys have done such a great job on setting her up to be a great Christian girl into a woman! She has the sweetest heart, showing so much faith in her God that adults do not even have themselves! You have to be so proud of her of having a big heart who says prayers like a champ and prays for all the right/most important yet simple prayers also. She is interrupting you guys in the middle of Volg to pray for something we as an adult do not even think about. Teaches us how to remember and thank God for the daily simple things He does for us. You need to start American Girl now if you want her to start collecting them. After the age of 10yrs old they start not wanting to do it or collecting the dolls anymore. So sorry to her about your Dad. Prayers he will get better. My Mom had the same symptoms your Mom was having. It was years ago, but it was her kidney infection in which turned into her blood system. She was in the hospital for almost a week. It was a very scary experience. My Mom had waited to go to the Dr for over a week and when she got a fever of over a 103 is when she finally was willing to go to Er, but it was too late by then and had gotten into her blood stream. Praying for your Mom and Evan’s Dad for peace, strength, courage and hope to get better. To gain their strength back. They have both been through so much. 🥰❤️🙏
Tears…and prayers for Momma Bates and Evan’s Dad. Thankful for the Lord’s goodness and mercy. He is so faithful! Y’all enjoy the cruise and birthday celebration! Can’t wait to follow along!
I was shockingly diagnosed with sepsis in December. I had just turned 60. My daughter thought I was having a stroke. I’m so grateful for the prayers for my body to heal. I send healing thoughts and prayers to Carlin’s family and Evan’s dad. I know that Kelli would heal quickly now that she’s home. ❤
I’m new here, but I’m a nurse who worked for a company that treated head injuries. Let me assure you that a concussion can most definitely cause memory issues, especially if it affects certain areas of the brain. The best way to explain it is that when you hit your head, the brain bounces forward and back hitting both sides of the brain. Because there is fluid around the brain you don’t always notice symptoms right at first. Symptoms often show up after the brain swells from the injury. My husband had an accident where he slid on ice going hunting one morning. His truck hit a huge tree head on. His head left a dent in the dashboard that looked like a bowling ball hit the dashboard. He talked crazy for a couple of weeks. We were having breakfast and he asked our son to go get the peanut butter. What he wanted was jelly. He was 100% sure he had asked for the jelly. The good news is these symptoms usually disappear in a few weeks. When kidney stones get to 8 mm and requires surgery it’s bad. Then add sepsis, wow! It’s probably going to take weeks for your mom to recover. Sepsis is so scary! Praise the Lord she’s okay!
Carlin, I'm crying with you...I lost my Dad unexpectedly 25 years ago this week. I was 33 years old and he was only 65, I feel like I was cheated and didn't get to see him grow old. I am soooo happy that your sweet Mama is recovering! Yes, experiencing these moments truly do make you look differently at life and appreciate the time you have with your loved ones so much more!
Praise God for His goodness and mercy and healing! I'm so very thankful that your precious mother has survived, Carlin, and is recovering! I'll be praying for her and for your dad too, Evan, that he will fully recover and it will be as if it never happened!
Evan and Carlin send hugs to your Dad' mum. Praying for both your parents. I can't believe Layla is going to be 5 where the time is gone. She is a beautiful princess.
This is a God sighting. I’m glad Carlin’s mom and Evan’s dad are doing better. It’s so scary when it’s your family. Especially when it’s your parents. I’m praying for your parents.
I am so grateful your Mom is doing much better. I know exactly how you feel. This year, my husband died, and my favorite brother-in-law and sister-in-law died within a month of each other. Now, I will be going to be with my sister in a few days as she has liver cancer and will not survive. Life is so fragile. Every moment you have with a loved one is very precious.
My heart broke for you all after hearing what you all went through. Yes…God is faithful. Praise God for healing your mom and I’m so thankful that Evin’s dad is doing better. ✝️♥️
God is so good! My Mom at 89 had a very similar experience. So scary but God answered all our prayers!🙏 Your Mom is in my prayers! Feel better! We serve an awesome God!
I'm so sorry you guys went through so much with Evan's dad and Carlin's mom. I'm so.happy Kelly is still here. Praying for all of you. Take it easy. God bless you all.
The update about your mom and father-law brought me to tears. Glad they are going to going to be okay. Sending prayers and safe recovery for your mom and father-in-law. I can’t wait to see updates on your Disney cruise for Layla for her 5 th birthday. Have a fun birthday Layla and enjoy your family trip. Love you guys and your vlog.
Oh Carlin I can feel every emotion you are feeling. I lost my Mom 1 yr ago due to Sepsis. I’m so thankful God was merciful to your Mom. God bless you sweetheart. Life is short and we all should cherish every moment with have with our loved ones.
I'm so glad Mrs. Bates is doing better! God is so good! I'm sorry to hear that your family has been sick. My family was sick with the flu (type A) over the Christmas holiday, and we were also without a fridge during that time. It's funny that y'all were in a very similar situation, but I'm glad y'all are doing much better now. Prayers for a full recovery for both Mr. Stewart and Mrs. Bates.
That is totally a miracle for recovery as I went septic 2.5 years ago and I was in the hospital for 29 days. I was so sick I didn't want to do anything at all. To have your mom healed and have surgery and home recovering is so amazing. Septic is not an easy thing to deal with.
Hope ur doing something big for zade birthday too but i do remember days when just had cake & icecream at home with presents and kids loved that kept it simple
Prayers being sent for both sets of parents 🙏🏽. Ps. I own an appliance store, helpful hint…get yourself a used refrigerator for your garage. Then if the one in the house goes out…you have a back up refrigerator. Plus it’s great for storing extra things you don’t necessarily need in the kitchen fridge. Hope your week gets better.. We love our Stew Crew family
As a fan that didn't even have the channel to watch bringing up Bates regularly, I still fell in love with your family, your faith, your vulnerability, your hearts. But your mom. We all love her as our mom. And when she shared the update and I saw the pics of how sick she was, and saw some of your siblings accounts of what happened... my heart just broke with the thought of losing her, she is a wonderful woman, wife, mom, grandma, her faith is such an example to all of us, as well as her love for her family. I was praying and crying as if I knew her personally but have never met her! I want to thank you, all the way from Nova Scotia Canada for sharing your lives, your faith, your love weekly in vlogs and on Instagram. You are a great witness and really show your love for God and you credit Him for all your blessings and pray for your needs and healing so openly and honestly. And praise the Lord for this answered prayer, for healing your mom! Thank you Jesus! I watch all your videos regularly but am not much of a commenter... But sitting here crying with you Carlin, in thankfulness, as well as with you Evan for your dad, I want to thank you for letting us be a part of your lives, your families. Thank you for sharing with us, I'll be praying with others in the world for the health of your dad Evan, and your mom Carlin, just like when we were praying for your health Carlin. 💕 I'm seriously so grateful for your vlogs, posts and your upcoming podcast. They lift us up, encourage us, and give praise to our Saviour. May God truly bless you both and your entire family. 🙏🏻🥰
I am 51 and I am so blessed to still have both parents. I cherish them more than anything and will forever. You have to live life fully because it is fragile and so very short. Don't take your family for granted. They are the most important people in the world!
Love, hugs, & prayers for Mrs. Bates & Mr. Stewart ❤🙏🙏 Hopefully no more sickness, accidents, mishaps, or scares any time soon for your wonderful, beautiful family. Those babies are going to have a blast on their Disney cruise! God bless you all! 🤍
I’m so thankful that God brought your momma through this difficult time. My mother actually passed awhile due to sepsis so it’s a true miracle from God she made it. Thank you Jesus. Evan I’m praying for your dad. I know that’s scary. Y’all are such a beautiful family. God bless you all!
Glad everythings good now.. Praying for you all my mom was on her death bed 9 months ago it was so scary but god pulled her through. She is now cancer free praise god ❤❤❤❤
Evan, I am sorry your Dad is having such a hard time. I will keep him in my prayers. Carlin, I understand what your Mom was going through, I, too, was hospitalized with a an UTI that had gone Septic.. I was out of it like she was. I was in a critical unit unit and for three days. I could not answer any questions and did not know anything. It was a scary time. So I know what she went through, so with that being said, She definitely is in my prayers. You take care of yourself. BTW, take mask for yourselves and your kids on the cruise. My sister went on a cruise and got sick on her trip. Just be careful and protect yourselves from getting sick. God only takes you home when he is ready for you to go home. He was not ready for your Mom. Thank you, sweet Jesus! Your Mom will recover but it takes a long time to get to feeling better.
That happened to me in 1982. My husband and I had been doing yard work and at first I thought that the pain was from that but it quickly became too severe and I had a fever of 104. I called a friend to watch my baby my husband took me to the ER and when the doctor walked in he said I was green like the wallpaper on the wall and spent 9 days in the hospital. I can’t even begin to imagine what would of happened had I not gone that night. I got sepsis again in 2017 from pneumonia thinking it was just a bad cold. I didn’t get a diagnosis until I got out of the hospital, a nurse ask me if she could follow my case, I asked why and said it was the type of pneumonia I had. God willing I will never get it again. I will continue to keep both of your families in my thoughts and prayers.❤
Carlin, I so wish I could give you a hug. I am so sorry for what you guys have walked through recently. Praying for your sweet mom’s continued healing. Also praying for Evan’s dad’s upcoming neurology appointment.
Thanking the Lord with you for sparing your mama's life. God is so very good.
Prayers for Evans dad, and family. And prayers for Carlins mom, and family.
This year's "I Love You" day should be all about your Mom.
@@jodicollins3109 I agree 💯
I agree what she said☝️
I agree but Kelly plans it, maybe the kids should plan it for a change and make it day all about Kelly...is that what you mean? Great idea and beautiful sentiment.
Yes that a great idea.
Definitely do that!

No she didn’t I cried the whole time she did. From the moment her voice cracked. Mrs. Bates is such an amazing woman. So thankful she recovered.
Omg, I'm crying my eyes out. I'm praying for Kelly Jo to have a speedy recovery. Also, I am praying for Evan's Dad that the doctors find the cause of his memory issues. Praise God.
The boys was in it they went to see their mom when dad called
Wow! I had no idea the severity! Thank you for this.

My husband passed away from sepsis two months ago
@@leslieheap7561😢I am so sorry for your loss of your husband. I’m saying a prayer for you right now.🙏🏻
Prayers 4 healing Papa Stewart & Momma Bates. God bless ❤ & hugs
That had to have been tough, being with her in the end. I'm not that strong, I can't do it.
People and things you love the most remain the longest...sorry for your loss...he sounds like he was a great guy...
Thanks for sharing. Sooo glad Kelly is ok. Yes. God is sooooo good!! All the time! So glad Evan's dad is doing better. Prayers for continued healing. Love from Kelly in MD.❤
Sorry for your loss
Wow ! What a week ! Thankful for answered prayers ! Continued prayers for healing, strength, health, and all that is needed 🙏
Y’all owe me a box of tissues. Very happy Mrs Bates is starting to feel better! Will keep Evan’s dad in prayer ❤
You guys are the best.
for your parents is.. a testimony.
Of how you you were raised ❤
Cash cow turns 5 cruise
@@sandybayes2252who cares? They aren’t doing anything wrong.
@@sandybayes2252your comments are what’s cringey! Not sure why you’re here watching if that’s how you feel?!?
That’s mean, you don’t have to talk like that.
God bless you and please be kind 👍 choose kindness
Prayer lifted for Evan's dad and your mom, Carlin. Sending hugs
What a blessing that you have your faith to know where your blessings comes from! What a Godly family! Peace be with you all!!❤
Tears…and prayers for Momma Bates and Evan’s Dad. Thankful for the Lord’s goodness and mercy. He is so faithful! Y’all enjoy the cruise and birthday celebration! Can’t wait to follow along!
I will pray for both. Dad and mom. How traumatic. God is so good.
I cried along with you on this blog. So glad Mrs. Bates is recovering!
Thank God for his Faithfulness!! God is a Healer & Miracle Worker 🙏🏼🙌🏼 I’m Praying for Mama B, and Papa Stewart ❤❤🙏🏼🙏🏼
Praying for Evan’s dad and Mrs.Bates🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽😭God’s got them both.
YALL !!!!!! I am BAWLING RIGHT NOW!!!! Sending Prayers for Healing, Comfort and Strength...
So happy to hear your Mom is doing so well,God is so good,he answered prayers, good to hear Evan’s Dad is doing better
What an awesome testimony!! Grateful to God with you for His hand on your families. Praying for continued healing for your parents. 😇🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
God bless you. I lost my husband in 2023 when our son was only 5 months old. May we fully lean on His strength 🙏🏽
Oh wow so sorry for all of your losses recently. Hopefully you have some good support system left
@susiesantino5625 thank you for your kind thoughts.
@kandisc7643 Sorry for your loss also. My heart goes out to you and your son.
My heart broke for you all after hearing what you all went through. Yes…God is faithful. Praise God for healing your mom and I’m so thankful that Evin’s dad is doing better. ✝️♥️
God is so good! My Mom at 89 had a very similar experience. So scary but God answered all our prayers!🙏
Your Mom is in my prayers!
Feel better!
We serve an awesome God!
I'm so sorry you guys went through so much with Evan's dad and Carlin's mom. I'm so.happy Kelly is still here. Praying for all of you. Take it easy. God bless you all.
So glad Mrs. Bates is okay and praying for Mr. Stewart😭💟
Thank you God for healing Kelly Jo and please bring healing to Evan’s dad. Yes absolutely Carlin God’s always there!! Blessings to you all! ❤🙏🙏
I'm seriously so grateful for your vlogs, posts and your upcoming podcast. They lift us up, encourage us, and give praise to our Saviour.
May God truly bless you both and your entire family. 🙏🏻🥰
I am with you on not being able to watch them when they were on tv. I am in Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Prayers for both Evan's dad and Carlin's mom. You have been through so much and prayers for you as well. God is so good!!!
Praise the Lord for answered prayer!! Praying for both parents that God will continue to heal them to full recovery!
I am 51 and I am so blessed to still have both parents. I cherish them more than anything and will forever. You have to live life fully because it is fragile and so very short. Don't take your family for granted. They are the most important people in the world!
Love, hugs, & prayers for Mrs. Bates & Mr. Stewart ❤🙏🙏
Hopefully no more sickness, accidents, mishaps, or scares any time soon for your wonderful, beautiful family. Those babies are going to have a blast on their Disney cruise! God bless you all! 🤍
You will LOVE the Cruise! I went as an adult…with no kids!…and we had so much fun!
So glad your parents are OK ❤ The power of Prayer! 🙏 ❤
8 mm is HUGE! I’ve been septic myself, and it is so scary. It definitely wipes you out. SO thankful that she’s okay. The power of prayer.
THE POWER OF PRAYER 🙏
THANKING GOD FOR “HIS” AMAZING GRACE .. 🙏❤️
CONTINUED PRAYERS FOR ALL 🙏
Oh my goodness, it seems like Layla was born yesterday! Time flies! Happy early Birthday Layla !!🎈🎁🎂🥳🎉 I hope you have an awesome Birthday!!
