Paracho Bajo Sexto demo

Mr. White compares three NOS (New Old Stock) Bajo Sextos - recently freed from the warehouse. They were made c. 2008 - 2013 and matured nicely in storage. Set up at White Bros. Music in March, 2021. Listed on our Ebay store under whitebrosmusic.

Hehe I see alot of people posting it can't be used in mariachi. The bajo can be used in any music. It is not bound by any style, it is a traditional instrument but can be used for anything. Difference is no one wants to venture into different territory. I've used the bajo to play many styles and it lends its self to anything you can imagine.
Think Eric johnson riffs on bajo. 😉

For me more like a 12 string and a double bass cs when the bass strings are played sound similar to when a double bass is slapped 😂

The bajo sector is not for mariachi music,mainly its for conjunto music accordion,ranchera music etc,

Those are used for Norteño and Tejano music mainly

That is not a mariachi instrument, that's for nortenio music and besides you are not playing the right chords they don't use the regular chords for that instrument

You are right, it is not normally a Mariachi instrument and used primarily in conjunto norteno. Chords are different from a traditional guitar, but some of the fingering patterns are the same or similar.
