Congratulations Jehu!! The big takeaway for me: You express yourself through batteries and EV's. You do it whether people are watching or not. You turned a fun life into an amazing one! Good on ya, and thanks for being a great example of what a person can do when they put their heart and action into their passion.
@@CreativosEmpodera2 It was Rich who made the recommendation; he could have done it himself instead of sharing the love, if I could be bothered I would have time stamped it for you, but it's a good show so watch again
I love how your channel has progressed. I remember watching your early videos and I knew that you were a special breed of a maker. Congratulations on all your achievements since than, big and small!
10 years!?! I look at your collection of vids and see 7 and 8 years ago and all the red watch bars are full....Goodness. where did time go. Congrats sir! What an accomplishment. Way to stay weird and enjoy life.
I’ve got a ‘64 Bug with 7 Tesla batteries (3 in the frunk and 4 behind the back seat). Its range is something between 170-190 miles with Hyper 9 high voltage motor (120 hp & 162 lb ft torque). We did front discs, coil over shocks, 12 volt conversion, LED lights, seat heaters and A/C.
Congrats Bro, A big thanks to you, watching you over ten years ago, I learned everything about batteries, bms, chargers, inverter, load and capacity, now I'm very happy because I run my business here in Nigeria on 18650 batteries. Thank you the

Very cool video. Totally enjoy the "Storytelling" you do Jehu. Your best videos are those where you unfold a "Story" about something, anything. Nice work.
I'm so proud of you man, you totally deserve this... I'm so happy for you and it has been such a pleasure to follow your journey. You are an example of the American Dream, where nothing can stop you from following your dreams!
Hey Jehu! Met you a few years back at your residence when I was doing door to door solar sales. You were such a friendly person to talk to and so awesome to see what you've been up to since then!
Congratulation!! Your creativity is truly inspiring and it’s evident that you put your heart and soul into your work. It’s not just awesome, it’s awe-inspiring. Keep up the fantastic work, my friend. You’re doing an amazing job and I can’t wait to see what you create next!
That bus is one of the coolest things I’ve seen. I’ve been waiting for someone to convert an old car into something other than just a simple UA-cam project. I love it!
sick man well done. thats very cool to be able to do this when so many others could not, gotta love being a self proclaimed engineer! I am low key following you in real life :D
This is amazing! Congratulations. I’m still hoping a modern version of the bus (ev) will be released. I’d love to get an electric VW bus but I have no idea where to start.
This is an awesome build. I have a 2008 PT Cruiser with 152k miles. When the engine goes, I want to convert it to EV. You have inspired me thru your product's and channel. I think you will need a bigger shop after this with all the business you will get.
WoW, 40 years ago, a coworker electrified a VW. The way the engine mounted made it easier. Of course, back then, there was only home charging, no charging stations.
Great to see your efforts reach a new audience. The EV conversion makes so much sense in many classic cars/busses. The owner ends up with a reliable, usable classic that's fun to drive. There must be a market for a rear drive transaxle by now?! So the original can be removed, gain a bit of efficiency and loose a bit of weight. Plus designed to handle the power and torque of the electric motor.
So proud of you🎉 Great to see your dedication to the art of electrification be recognized by a wider, even more eclectic, audience. You are my hero, Jehu😂
Hell yeah bro. Congrats on the success. Hopefully this pushes your company to new heights. Hopefully I get a chance to meet you at a vw show in the future. I wanna turn my Westy into an EV! Have you seen any bay windows converted yet?!
Congratulations. Looks awesome. Can ask why you would not put some of the batteries on the right of the engine to safe some space in the back? Would this be possible? Or is there a big benefit on keeping the space empty?
I am very impressed. My Congratulations. I always say; who compares, loses. But that's pretty amazing. You have great customers with the will and the money. Here in Europe this is partially possible in England. But definitely not in Germany. Anyone who has the necessary change here wants everything original, of course with the combustion engine..
I would love to see you put a large LDU tesla drive unit or sdu in the rear of one of these, and transplant an entire tesla screen, etc and at least 60kw of batteries. I had a 21 window (1966) sold in 2009 (regret it but bought a house with the funds) and had a 23 window I sold 20 years ago. They are now pricewise crazyland.
I waited till I could buy a ticket for THIS drawing of the RDJ dream car raffle. I really hope I can either win this, or learn enough to build a conversion of my own. 😍 I'm sending my business partner your links (he's an engineer) for inspiration. Thanks for all you do!
Fantastic. Considering that 25% of new car sales in California are EVs. I'm guessing the supply of batteries will increase over time, though some of the Tesla ones have a lot of structural foam, and no modules. One giant pack. See "Monro Live" teardowns for details.😊
Congrats bro! You deserve the notoriety for all the hard work you've been doing for decades. Keep inspiring the masses
Notoriety. That word does not mean what you think it means.
notoriety - the state of being famous or well known for some bad quality or deed.

Thank you so much!
You made Iron Man an EV? That is awesome! Serious cred to get the opportunity for an A-lister.
Awesome and ironic 😀
That’s because buying a Tesla would be a poseur. The real Iron Man orders a vintage VW bus EV built.
Congratulations, Jehu! This is great and you did a fantastic job.
That's when you feel proud of your skills when someone like RDJ wants you to work on his car .... Hats off
10 years!?! I look at your collection of vids and see 7 and 8 years ago and all the red watch bars are full....Goodness. where did time go. Congrats sir! What an accomplishment. Way to stay weird and enjoy life.
Watched today until the end! Jehu this is AWESOME! You should have asked him to get the suit and fly around the bus :)
Super cool that you were involved in this it will give you even more exposure than what you had now you deserve it you work so hard.
Awesome man! Really cool!! Maybe we need to do an electric VW (non Brazilian of course haha) for our next project 😮

Juhu man. That is awesome you get to work with another awesome person. I can't wait to see what you both come up with next.
