Thanks Jen and Robert for taking us back to a colourful autumn day my favorite time of year , although today feels more like autumn here today than Jan 1 , it +6C and drizzle rain , our snow is almost all gone, no centipedes brave enough to come out though lol Happy New Year guys
Haha, you're welcome! Autumn is one of my favourites, too, along with Spring. The colours in this woodland didn't disappoint, that's for sure. Our weather here is so mish mash! It's big coat on big coat off! Haha. We've just had another storm, but the next couple of days should be sunny! Happy New Year to you, too!
@atrampinthehills.841 We love Dunwich too and Westleton, from beach to woodlands to heath it has it all... we finished December with a walk around Westleton Heath.
Nice vid...my name is Les and thought I would check out you channel as I have seen your comments on Rob and Stevens channels...I retired last month after working in the Peak District for 50 years and as a retirement project have decided to revisit all the towns and villages here using only my bus pass😂...my first love is music hence the name of my channel, also my family and my home in the Peak District...noticed you have got some PD walks on here which will be my pleasure to watch...it is also my pleasure to subscribe...I don't talk much on my vids cos can't stand the sound of my voice but used to on me and my sons channel which we used to have but cos of family and work we had to fold but those vids are on my Peak Memories playlist on my channel...Cheers Les🙂👍
Hi! Thanks so much for giving me a look and subscribing. I live in Norfolk - East Anglia but have had many, many holidays in the Peaks District from the age of 12! (So not that many, really, hahah) My parents loved it, and up until we lost my dad 4years ago, were holidaying there 3 times a year. It holds special memories for me. Me and Hubby Robert have always loved going on walks, but it was Covid that got us back into doing more (one good thing that came out of Covid at least!) My channel started as I'm always videoing and taking photos but family were never that interested in watching so thought I'd give youtube a go... it acts as a video library as well as letting other like-minded people find good places to visit. And now, after 20years, we've got back into camping! We also have a motorbike - I'm just pillion - so occasionally I'll put a video up of that. We have toured the Peaks on an earlier motorbike before me doing youtube. Thanks again for subscribing - I'll check out yours. I hope you enjoy looking through some of my videos. Oh, and you might've worked out, I am a huge lover of bees!! And nature in general! All the best, Jenny, 😊
@bumblejennybee88 Brilliant... can't wait to catch up with all your adventures...not a fan of camping though sorry , tried it once with Barb my wife and had to abandon ...we got flooded out and our tent was under a foot of water when we retrieved it the next day...Danny who is Robs brother keeps on at me to go with him...not a chance🤣...well Happy New Year to you and yours ... Cheers Les🙂👍
@lespickering5080 Hahaha we had the same experience with camping over 20 years ago... totally flooded and also abandoned the tent! I said never again! Thankfully, tents have improved since then, and now we're hooked again! Happy New Year to you too ☺️
@@bumblejennybee88 🤣Tents might have improved but my thoughts on camping have not...I was in a panic last year when my wife wanted to buy another tent on Amazon cos my sons all love camping and she was willing to risk it again...Before she bought it we went on a walk and picnic in Goyt Valley and she sat very close to an ant's nest...She was quite badly bitten and this made her decide not to buy one...I love ant's😂😂😂
I thought it was a good way to see out autumn and the woodland didn't disappoint! Haha, I could never replace that backpack now... it goes on every adventure. It's like a little tardis. I can fit so much in it! 🐝 Hope you've had a good start to the new year, all the best, Jenny 😊
Great little video Jenny 😊 but your cute beautiful dog still the video🤩 is so adorable 🥰.
Thanks, Natalia. Haha, he is adorable, isn't he. He's our son's dog... we call him our granddog as he comes and stays with us sometimes 🤣
@ wonderful 🤩. I’m more cat person but I love taking care of dogs. ❤️
@nataliaholowacz4824 We've always had dogs up until about 4 years ago - we now have 2 cats! (But we love looking after Reggie) 😆

Lovely montage of the autumn Jenny. I kid you not I'd know you from 1,000 yards on account of your backpack. Ha ha! All the best. Mark
