I listened to this first in Sir Syed Day's play on Syed Ahmad Khan in AMU. Since then I have been coming back to this and Suraiyya's often. Though the rendition was yours that I loved.

Wahan ke loge ‘KH’ ko ‘Hay’ aur QAAF ko ‘Kaaf’ nahi bolte AUR na hi Urdu Alfaz ki taang todte hain! Urdu India mein zinda rahegi aur phale-phoolegi. Woh gulabi Urdu nahi, Khalis Urdu bolte hain!? Agar Pakistani ho tou tumhara ‘Appreciation’ chota munh badi baat’ hai!
Technical Team se ek request hai ki Ghazal ke Shaayar aur composer ka naam bhi description me jaroor add karein. Waise toh isme takhallus ka zikr hai par iske bawjood bhi kar dein. 🙂🙏 By the way.. Love this performance. ❤️
