OMG at first I wasnt Interested in footloose but onced we got into doing the dances and everything well I love it and we are going to start tech week next week so Im supper excited we open next week cant believe it :DD
I saw this today at shawnee mission west it was great I loved the cast great voices great people who played the characters my fav characters was ren and willmar isnt that his name lol my first time watching this movie/play n I luved it
My school did a production of this. For this song thy breifly had every person in the town shown doing something covertly and almost getting caught in rapid succession.
rusty is played by the phenominal, vocally perfect singer/actress britt mckillip. she and her sister carly mckillip are an amazing country music group called ONE MORE GIRL and she's also reggie from the fox show DEAD LIKE ME. cheek out their youtube channel and select the cover 'RAIN' !!!!!!! unbelieveable talent
@mohopgold she sure dose, that's Britt McKillip from One More Girl you should check out there music they are amazing and just got signed to an American Label!!!
@ellabee99 rusty was played by canadian country artist Britt Mckillip of ONE MORE GIRL!!! u should check out their music if u haven't already. they've got a youtube and website if ur interested.
we are doing a little it of this for out music gcse but the thing in the gcse music ppl are bein marked but we r also doin it as a show for parents so we hav ppl whon arnt in music singin i go gcse music and indont get 2 sing i dont see how it works but yano
I was Ren in my HS production of it...it actually played out pretty well cuz i was the Hipster Black cat from the Chi nobody really liked and the rest of the cast was white so it was more realistic
hmm ... this number was alright. the rest, though, like let's hear it for the boy and holdin' out for a hero were fantastic (dancing aside)!!!!! i mean you don't choose footloose if you don't have a superb dance group, but i like LISTENING to it!! =D
I Was in this show in my camp.. Loved being in it but the show is soo boring and pointless... It is up to the cast to bring life to it.. You guys really did it.
that was terrable. the dancers werent on time with each other, im doing the same play at school and you cant just stand there on stage and look at the aduience and sing. however the vioces were GREAT!!!! this could have been a lot better with a little more dancing.
Rusty-your intonation needs serious training, as does your diction. It's obvious you have been listening to too much pop music, which your vocals may be acceptable for. You were lucky songs from Footloose are based on pop songs. If this was a typical show-tunes musical, you would be screwed.
Lets hear it for the girl playing rusty. She is amazing
this is soo good!! THE BEST ON UA-cam. everyone has a great voice, rusty ur great so are you urlene and wendy jo you a very unique voice and love it.
HOLY COW! you are great singers!!! Fantastic.

Great Cast You all did a great job. The girl that played Rusty has a fantastic voice. BRAVO!
I adore this song!

weird i remember 4 girls in this song
at this time the kids are still not sure about dancing, so if they dance, it would defeat the purpose
FHS totally kicks your ass :)
they cut out lines all over the place.
I Was in this show in my camp.. Loved being in it but the show is soo boring and pointless... It is up to the cast to bring life to it.. You guys really did it.
i sounded really good except i didn't like that they were singing to the crowd and not ren
god damnit its willard gosh finally lol srry
skinny, long-haired boys..
In all honesty, Wendy Jo wasn't great. I mean, she hit the notes alright, but she seemed kinda nervous or something.
kramer
that was terrable. the dancers werent on time with each other, im doing the same play at school and you cant just stand there on stage and look at the aduience and sing. however the vioces were GREAT!!!! this could have been a lot better with a little more dancing.
Worst blocking ever. Pretty good voices, though, especially Rusty and Wendy Jo. Urleen was okay.
the dude that is playing Uncle Wes, the voice he is using is annoying.
