I've gone here and played this song so many times now, its absurd. At least 200 times in the last three years. My favorite poor-recording quality wrinkled tape piece in the world. I was lucky enough to grow up in Woodstock where live folk and rock music ran very very strong, and I haven't seen or heard anyone so effective as he is for me.

Ray is carrying the torch for this special blend of music. GOAT blend of Soul Blues Mountain Man. And he’s a song writer. And plays guitar like that. Damn Amazing. Go to his shows and have an unforgettable captivating evening. He’s just so dame special. Got that Van Mo touch wand this wicked blues and he got that electric guitar chops. And produces his album. GOAT

Mastery of an instrument and over coming your fear of performing is amazing its just too bad the music machine that is today changed him and we dont hear this raw music anymore.

Black Keys had this energy, then Danger Mouse got a grip on them. Keep it real Ray.

He's really just basing this off of Stephen Stills 'Black Queen.'

If the music machine known as big buisness would leave people alone he would be making more music like this instead of the super nova crap, even if it is based off of tree top flyer he made it his own.
