Our Brembo calipers looked terrible and the clear coat was flaking off so a few quick coats of clear and they are a hundred times better looking.

I wouldn't use brake cleaners on a painted surface. It's a strong solvent which evaporates very quickly too quickly for wiping down a calliper. A good car shampoo and a detailing brush would clean them easily.

You could probably find vinyl decals online.
I would have used a high temp epoxy clear so it can handle the wheel cleaner later

All the high temp clear I could find here needed to be baked in an oven to cure properly unfortunately
