I was watching this, and I've seen many Chen Guide reactions, but I never thought to mention this before. Uprising....the heavier song that he did and was headbanging to.....We need a Chen Album like that. Ballads are so much his comfort zone and as much as I enjoy those songs, This was a song I loved soooooo much cuz it's so different from what Chen always does. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Chen do an upbeat album like that, that had stuff like uprising in it. Like, I'm not talking screamer music so much, cuz I want him to take care of his vocal chords and not have any problems with his voice. He loves to sing, and that would be detrimental, but an album like that.....with songs that are out of his comfort zone would be phenomenal. He is such a power house vocally, the power house in exo and I just think it would be freaking GOLD!
Isnt his voice is littlerally made for rock, very powerful ,many veterans said that too.But he showed his skill in emotional delivery with ballads ,pop(2nd album is a mixof ballads and pop). Ofcourse I would love to see more rock side of him. But anyway I dont think his comfort zone is ballads .
And I love his Watch Out solo performance, rocker Chen is definitely something we look forward to...Chen once said that ballad is more difficult to sing as it needs more control in his vocal.

He said he wants to challenge himself doing "ballads" (even when his solos are not all ballads) During his fansigns(in 2019) he mentioned that he wants to try some jazz for KJD3... I just saw him in London at Hallyupopfest and it was his first public performance since before the ”scandal”and enlisting. He seemed nervous at first but we started chanting his name and you could see him visibly relax and put on the most spectacular show! And there was no backing track. He sounds like an angel in real life!!
I'm utterly grateful that London exols and soons gave his endless support. I got so emotional when I saw the crowd chanting his name and sing along with him. He looked so relax afterwards. He also said that he had a good time. He deserves it. Im so happy for him.
