This is why a lot of us were so hurt when the news of his marriage broke out: because he's nothing but kind, and he didn't deserve to be attacked by fake, delusional fans. He still continues to be trashed for that, and it seems that even if the majority are more than okay with it, the few rotten apples have more power just because they live over there. I'm so hoping for a world tour so that he can feel the love that international fans have for him.

Just because they live in the same country, that doesn't make them more important, right? It shouldn't be like that, but it is the truth!! The bitter truth~ No matter how much we fight for him and support him, the media gives attention to those rotten apples at the end and it makes me so frustrated!! Jongdae will see THEM throwing hate on him because they can show their hatred physically by protesting before that damn SME building and that one hell of a company can't seem to care less about it!! But still, even after being at a disadvantage, the international Eris managed to show their love and support to him and the fact that he is still in the group just like he was before, promoting with them happily with a big smile on his face, is the proof that those rotten apples and their equally rotten voices will always be insignificant~ What matters is the members' love for him and the love of their real Eris~❤ Also, the kerries played a big role in this too!! There are a lot more korean fans who support Jongdae than the ones who are against him~ He has set an example by having a family of his own without the expense of his career, which is reallyyyy rare in kpop~ I hope this changes the kpop world for the better~❤
So let me share this one. I happen to interact an exo l and I was genuinely happy that she's also into exo but then on the later part of being too immersed in the topic she then asked if I am aware that Chen is married and I said ofc I'm totally fine with it then I asked her about her opinion and she pretty much avoided the question and shared that her friend hated that Chen got married and stopped stanning Exo. Honestly I feel so bad for Chen, he doesn't deserve any of these hate. I understand that it was shocking but it's a normal part of life. I will always admire Chen for being so brave and for showing up to his fans who genuinely support his music. 🥹🥹🫶🫶

Rewatching this video along with you made me fall in love with him all over again. He truly is such a kind soul. And the fact that he is always working so hard, he constantly wants to improve himself despite being one of the best (if not THE best) in kpop atm…I LOVE HIM SO MUCH😭
PS. He is having his japanese solo debut in august! 🥰 And if you haven’t heard already, EXO is coming back with their 7th full album in July!🥳
It would have been better if Chen’s part in El Dorado (Chinese version) was shown. It was flawless. Sadly, he wasn’t given any opportunity to sing the part live.

"Kind" is such a small word to describe CHEN imo~ Seeing such a person get hate for marrying and having children... being called as "selfish" just because man wanted to start a family just feels so unfair!! Even recently, about a month ago, Jongdae helped a student who was being bullied by her schoolmates. It happened on the day of KAI's enlistment but the person told the story some days later~
So on the evening of KAI's enlistment day, a student was being bullied by her schoolmates on the street and suddenly a man, wearing all black and a mask, approached them and asked the kids to stop it as bullying isn't a good thing to do. Just so you know, bullying is A LOT MORE worse in South Korea than the rest of the world, more than we could even think of! So back to the story, after Jongdae stepped in, the bullies disrespectfully told him to move aside and keep going his way. But he was adamant and started calling the police(or just pretended to do it). Seeing this, the bullies ran away. After they left, he took the victim's phone and called her mother and the school authorities (her teacher probably) and informed them about the bullying. He waited there with the victim till her mother came to pick her up. Her mother thanked him and that's when he took off his mask and bowed to the mother. Only then the victim saw that he is an insanely popular idol and a member of EXO, CHEN!! The victim further said in her post that she is writing all this because she couldn't even thank him properly at that time and now she is totally fine.
What I loved about the incident is that Jongdae didn't just stop the bullies, he took a step further and informed the guardian and the school teacher as well. He didn't just solve the problem at hand, but also made sure that the problem is uprooted from the core by taking appropriate measures, so that the victim doesn't have to face any of this in the future as well!! That is our Kim Kind❤ I get what EXO meant by saying that CHEN always does what is right and what has to be done and always makes the best decisions~✨
