THANKS for the detailed closeups on the exhaust manifolds. I'm getting ready to put a 350 in a 2wd Jimmy but I want to use the Hooker cast manifolds instead of headers.
Before you try a v8 s-10 swap....buy the Jags That Run S-10 book. I have had my *88 V8 S-10 Blazer for 24 years. I was converted to V8 before I got it. Trust me...buy the book...even if you don't do what they recommend...you will know why or why not. I didn't do everything they suggested...some worked out, others didn't, buy I made an informed choice. 160K+ miles and thousands of passes at the drag strip for a daily driver it's been 10% pain in the but sometimes, but 90% blast of fun, and I didn't go broke.
Hmm . Yeah looks good man I love to do a v8 swap or even the 4.3v6 on mine but finding a good transmission and engine but isn't easy finding them lol so many issues with the automatics with v8s I rather have a 5speed butt then I would have to cut the floor and fire wall put to do everything . So ha I'm stuck with my 2.8 I swapped to because orginally my truck was a 2.54cyl but had a blown headgasket so I swapped to the 2.8 instead.
I think I showed it in the first v8 swap video, it's what would have come on any sbc with short water pump I believe. Soon I'm going to make a new video on this because I have changed some things as I just installed headers

Nice clean install. Looks good

I'll keep driven it until it blows up and then drop in my backup 2.8 I have out of a 92 s10 lol
looks great
You could change your fan back to in modified and run a electric fan
Jw what fan shroud and radiator did you use? Thanks I'm almost finished with my swap!🤘
I used the original 2.8 rad and shroud and fan so far it works but a rad from a 4.3 is going to work as well.
What brackets did you use for power steering

Did you use the t5 transmission that was in the s10 or changed it out as well?
It had a 700r4 with the small bellhousing I put a 700r4 in the 90 degree bellhousing same driveshaft same shift linkage same speedometer cable
Do any of your factory still gauges work ?
All of them except water tem
Change your 2.8 temp sensor and water should work
Nice job, only I would do differently use a 4.3 rad, and electric fan
