I run a Springfield caliper and an Eclat Sniper lever (bent the original lever in a crash). Switched to a Shimano inner cable as cables do die over time and need replacing. Likewise, new pads are Box Three race pads. Stops the bike fast and the whole system is easy to keep running perfectly.
I'm thinking about putting them on my ATF 24 ....
I run those brakes they feel amazing great review as normal

@hobbit lad yo I'm sure I'm a bit late, but I solved my front fork issue by purchasing a Boomerang 990 adapter. A side pull brake just wasn't going to give my bike that look I wanted.

I stopped listening when the guy said that CNC is stronger than forged.
In hindsight I should have stopped listening when he said that forging is when you put metal shavings in the mold and press them....
That's how you get ppl to pay 3x the price for a CNC part that is inferior
Sick video as always. Brakes are really cool because your variety of tricks expand. I've had brakes before and honestly they help a lot.
brakes are good just not for everyone

I would say not. Snapped two levers trying to heat and bend them. The spring isn't anywhere near strong enough to pull the pads away from the rim - They can't overcome the tension in the cable not being perfectly bent. Pretty weak really.

My Pro P came with this brake on the rear end. I eventually purchased a Boomerang 990 mount in order to have a front brake. I'm currently trying to find a great 990 brake for my fork because the Black Ops 990 I purchased is garbage. I do prefer the original Odyssey brake lever that my bike came with. Using the WD40 trick to remove the hand grips was a bit messy🤨👍.
WD-40 is for installing grips not removing them. It helps them adhere to the bars.

Should I use the cable I already have. It's only like a month old. Or should I use the cable they sent. My cable seems to have just got worn in. Just ordered these a few days ago.
The bike is a cult 26 devotion. Just wondering is changing the cable the kit comes with. Would be worth it.

Do full bike builds dude.. That way when people order say complete bikes from you they know how to set them up or even do like a talent giveaway .. have people send clips and use that name STACKED BMX more .. and will say every month you can pick a riders clip that was sent and post it on your channel .. You'll grow faster if you show tons more support to not just your locals riders but to other states even counties.. branch out as far as you can.
We have a few complete bike reviews but maybe building them up while talking about them while building them up will be cool.
I know I saw the sobrosa review .. but a build up would be dope

Had these brakes on my bike for a good while and the spring snapped but struggling fitting it on and hate having no brakes 😞
I have this same brake system on my Sunday , had one issue my brake lever is stripped the bolts went out only after a few months was going to replace it but was thinking about going brakeless hmm 🤔

Negative. You need cantilever brake. Do not use V-brakes
