    had you thought of using synthetic instead of bucktail,in your lovely salmon tubes,have alook at pike trek.com i use these materials for tying large pike flies and these materials are very versitile and could be adapted as they dont hold water and would enable you to construct large or small flies that are easier to cast ,i love your fly patterns,please don t be offended by these sujestions,from one fly tyer to another we all learn from each other and i really look forward to seeing more of your lovely salmon flies

    Denis fantastic as usual wach this all the time I got a good supply of Lady Amerphesant tails ill send you some I have 40 all dyed by myself and ten natural I need to no ware I can get good hen capes like the ones you use if I can get them white I can pick what to date as I need these fly have me hooked what size of double would yo suggest for them get work if Michael can get me hen capes ill purchase them I did not want to spend 400 pounds for a vice the same one you're using Michael offer me to pay it up that is a gent always look out for your new patterns the lava tail shrimp nice I am going on holiday in the October week then back to tye in the warm when it's freezing cold cheers keep them coming allan

      Hi Allan the capes I use in the video are Whiting b4 hen saddles.The size of hook to use all depends on the size of fly you plan on tying for the fly in the video I would recommend a size 8 .As for the vice regal do a full range so haveca look you might find something to suit you

      Hi Allan the inner tube is about 2" long and Michael may have some drabs available
