- I'm back with another Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel video and I got tired of getting bodied in modern Yu-Gi-Oh so we go back to GOAT format to play some old school Yu-Gi-Oh!

I love goat format so much. I wish they made a mode dedicated to it. Or a generation mode for each generation of yugioh. And I wish they made tag duels a mode like tag force.

Mother Grizzly for the WIN! Nostalgia hits hard, that was one of my first favorite cards in YGO. You can really see a difference how old school was more intense and interesting, also that second duel was EPIC!

Old school YuGiOh is soooo much better than modern. I actually understand and follow what's going on, and they play more than five turns.

@13:15 yugioh for almost 10 years now has been otk vs otk. Games end in 2 turns per person. Are you telling me you have more fun playing yugioh solitaire compared to actual back and forth game play?

Some tips for hero classic deck Try adding giant rat and creature swap and make sure and make sure you run 3Hero signal🤔here is one sample combo plays turn 1 set giant rat and set hero signal when your opponent atk the giant rat it will float into Clayman and hero signal will search Sparkman giving you fusion plays DD warrior is also good card since it can be search with giant rat good for getting rid of Spirit Reaper and your opponent will br forced to use removal spell or to get rid of it😉

Ahh, this takes me back. I don't keep up with modern Yugioh as much these days so in not too knowledgeable about the current meta. But seeing these cards takes me back to a much simpler time. I feel old 😭😭

I love og yugioh because there wasn’t so much reading. Cards now a days have 3 effects & let’s be honest it takes no skill anymore. It’s literally this card summons this card, then that card adds this card, then I play this card which summons this & it’s never ending. Like why?
I’ve tried playing master duel and it’s just depressing. I had someone today that just beat me in the first turn. I didn’t even get my first turn. It’s not fun anymore 😢
Even in ranked I keep it SORTA old school. I run variations of a toon deck in ranked...some call me crazy, but I just like to have fun with my favorite archetype 😅
(This season I'm running my toon deck with the dark magician engine mixed in a bit)

Don't worry about Tearlaments everyone. Eventually they will add Kashtiras to Master Duel, and it will hard counter the Tearlaments decks. I see no inherent problems with this solution. None at all.

I like the old style yugioh and I enjoy some of the modern updates or additions to some of the old style decks.
As I know the updates to Destiny Board weren't made back then and were added to fix some.of the main issues... Mostly it being a worse version of exodia.
It is just the top tier meta decks I despise.
The long duel wait of losing turn one because I didn't draw the specific hand trap I needed to stop the enemy turn one...
Or how I scratch my head when at the end of my turn one going first I get hit by Evenly Matched nuking my board and he enemy hadn't even played a card.
the top decks are toxic and by the time they finish their round I could have finished a regular caveman yuigoh duel or a GOAT format duel.
If anything I wish for another game like Yugioh Legacy of the Duelists with some updated graphics.

Funny how Modern complaints are mostly the high tier decks. The modern rogue or low tier decks are fun too and without goat format draw 5 cards all the time bs

May I ask if you've tried the YGO Rush game on Switch? It's more balanced than Modern Yu-Gi-Oh if I'm being honest. And the best part? No OTKs.

tear is obnoxious is just so boring, unfair and enfuriating i just scoop everytime i came across. I have almost all the necessary cards to play that deck i can even craft the rest but i just dont want to, i cant stand that deck.
