Matthew You don’t need to be a virtuoso to have constructive criticism. Even then it’s just UA-cam but look at the endless sea of “journalists” in music and beyond. That being said this one was less sloppy than the one I watched for Its not safe but that doesn’t change the fact that Mark is a nice guy, writes insane music, has hella chops, and did a lot for proggy djent metalcore/has been making great music for years and years. We’re all human after all I don’t expect the performances to be 100%. Overall Mark killed it here but that guitar was a little too quiet and I would’ve liked a little less back track but hey that’s just my opinion/critique.
The sound was shitty because this is filmed at namm in kiesels booth with probably 15 other guitarist trying to play while everyone crowds around Marc and the neighboring booths. It’s not studio quality sound because... it’s live in a big arena
