I might be a little biased, but this is and always will be my favorite film ever.
For years, it has been a dream of mine to secretly get married at Abiqua Falls. I love weddings with my whole heart, but at the end of the day, they are my job, and there is no escaping that feeling. I knew I needed to do something different and I am so happy I did.
Cody & I eloped on August 4th with 18 friends and family members. We kept it secret for 3 weeks before sharing this film at our "wedding" on August 27th.
This was filmed by my second shooter, Nick, who joins me on most of my weddings. It was edited by me, with Cody as my moral support :)
I hate to be the "im going to copy you" girl but this wedding is my dream and it was so beautiful and inspiring! i love the intimacy

This is what I was... For us to escape and go to a beautiful place where its just us and not with the world. Where we can stay just me and him in our own world and love.. I don't want a diamond ring, I just want a ring, I don't want a perfect dress I just want to perfectly fit in his arms, I want us to dance our song; for the moment to last forever and then go into life holding hands.

This film is beautiful! I have two questions for you. Was the waterfall really loud and was everyone able to hear each other? I think the idea of a waterfall is so neat. Also were there any strangers there at your location at the time of your wedding since I believe this is a public place? Thanks!
Megan MacConnell It wasn't too loud! You can hear it a little bit in the audio of the ceremony and that's about as loud as it was there.
We got there around 7 in the morning, and people didn't show up til about 10. I think the key to no people is getting there early! :)

Yes I T is its a planned elopement, new times, new phrases
