Thank you so much for this video and the discount code. I've only used it for a couple of hours and I'm amazed at how good it is. I asked the AI about modismos colombianos because I'm thinking of traveling there. It gave me examples using Colombian locations. Then it asked me questions about what it had told me. It's easy to check definitions of words and translate sentences. I saved words and then asked it to create a story for me using the words I had saved. The story made sense and had many more words that I could learn and save. It checks my pronunciation and grammar. This is going to be a great tool and a small price to pay for so much functionality. I agree that the voices seem more human than other AI models that I've tried. And there's still so much for me to explore.
Your cirtieria is exactly what I've been looking to hear, as I'm trying to learn Mexican Spanish specifically. I just bought an annual plan with your link and code. Thank you!

Keep up the good work.
This is perfect for someone like me who has social anxiety. For the last language I learnt, I used to keep an audio journal and didn't start speaking with others until I was fluent enough to trust that the words I needed would come to me. It's impossible to catch all your own mistakes though, and a monologue doesn't have the same rhythm as a conversation, so this will be much better. Thank you so much for sharing!
I see how that would be helpful. Although, I've begun to wonder if the key to learning is to lean into letting myself speak poorly, make mistakes, and be corrected.

This is great. Thanks Paul. My family doesn't speak Spanish. Therefore, I have no one to practice with. Because of this, I'm scared to try with strangers. This way, I can feel confident I'm saying it correctly.
I just spent almost a month in the Dominican Republic, and while it's good to know you're saying things properly, nothing gives as much confidence as when you can use broken Spanish and get your meaning across. Ultimately this is the most important thing. Native speakers tend to be patient enough and they will correct you when there are obvious errors. Getting your hands dirty in the field, so to speak, is the best way to learn a new language. Now, understanding when some of them speak is a whole other issue.

Appreciate this so much! Duolingo is teaching me European Spanish but I’m in Mexico and the difference is notable, especially with the accents in the speaking drills. This should really help me take the “Spain” out of my Spanish.
I use Duolingo for Spanish and as far as I know it uses Latin American Spanish. I asked a Spanish friend from Spain and he said it sounded like Mexican Spanish to him

Thanks Paul, great service! Perhaps someone has encountered or knows of a service that allows you to dialog with AI on a pre-loaded lesson plan. For example, it is possible to use textbooks with methods proven over the years.
I don't know Mexican friends and co-workers, young or old, who are educated beyond high school that speak like the first speaker. "Orale" and "Que onda"? Are not used. In English "Que onda" as a greeting literaly means, what wave (are you on)? In the 60's it was used when young people were using "grass" and other substances and were often "high" "stoned" or "tripping". This slang is extreemely casual. When learning a new language so as to not offend it is best to learn the proper Spanish. Every country in Hispanic America knows which is proper Spanish. Is there a way to ask for a conversation that is educated? I want my grand-daughter to learn Spanish; this is why I found your channel. Already we have profited from some of your grammar lessons--than you.
Paul, you are the man. Thank you for all you do. If I am trying to learn Puerto Rican Spanish, what county would you recommend for a closer dialect? Should I just learn Spanish from Spain and then adapt? Or is there a different country that might give me a closer experience to what we speak here in Puerto Rico?
Judging by the first sentence I heard (from LanguaTalk) "¿De qué te gustaría platicar?", it teaches Mexican Spanish. Glad to hear that the setting can be changed.
They have AIs from multiple areas. They all use the vocabulary, colloquialisms and accent from those areas. That's what makes it such an effective learning tool.
Hi. I’m just watching the video to decide before purchasing. Is it just Mexican Spanish that’s used? I know that it can differ from mainland Spain Spanish having learnt initially from both. Thanks
One of the things that sets Langua apart is that it features Spanish from multiple countries. The AI uses not only the accent, but also the colloquialisms and word preferences. They have Mexico, Spain; Argentina, Chile and some others.
I did a quick check but there doesn't seem to be an app version for the phone. Not sure this would work for someone whose vocabulary is barely 1000 words or just knows enough to ask for directions or place an order. Conversations would be brutally slow and cumbersome as the user would struggle with things to say. I figure if you're someone who could almost recite what I just typed in Spanish without really searching for the words, you would get some use out of it.
My problem with the last one I tried was waiting for the AI response took ages to “think.” Is this one more like the response time in an actual conversation? Not sure if the demonstration in this video was the normal/expected outcome. Thanks!
If I'm reading the site correctly, there are 3 different packages, unlimited, communicate, Immerse???? Is that right? Looks like they have annual option for each. Which one do you have? I so excited about this! Thanks for the video.
Hi everyone, I have this program but I find the integration with my iPhone next to useless. The audio from the AI only comes out of the speaker that you use if you hold your phone to your ear. AirPods do not work at all.
Also, the record and send function sometimes doesn’t work. I have contacted support but they say it is an Apple issue. I hardly ever use it now which is a shame.
Vivo en Chile. Tengo 72 anos. Necesito algo asi por que mi salud no esta bien y casi todos los dias estoy solo en mi casita. Algunos dias no puedo hacer nada pero me gusta apprender español/chilian .Gracias Qroo Paul . Vaya con Dios
One question - as a spanish student I can usually figure out how to express something (a word for word translation in my head). However, it may not be the normal way something is expressed in Mexico, for example. This is a pitfall of practicing speaking too soon. Will this tool correct me to the right way to express something?
@AndreAngelantoni Not sure why he needed to say this wasn't a sponsored video though. Doesn't matter if he gets paid upfront or gets paid through sales. There's still motivation to push the product because of monetary gain in some way
@@Snk13_ty Well because it wasn't a sponsored video It matters because if he gets paid up front, he's saying what they want him to in exhange for money. This way he can say whatever he wants - which means that people are more likely to believe him and more likely to actually use the service
Could you please confirm that when they say that we’ll be chatting with any of the listed tutors in listen and read mode i.e Maria, Miguel, Cristian, Daniela, that these are the AI ones rather than the actual online Spanish tutors? Most likely that I’ll use one of the human tutors to practise but it was the AI option I was interested in trying initially, hence searching for one with this feature . Thanks
I think it is limited for Spanish. It doesn't offer the wide range of AI tutors by region to help people focus one particular Spanish. It's more than just an accent. It's word choice, colloquialisms and even slang.
I went through the whole Pimsleur course and am not doing Duolingo, one of the little girls on there speaks so fast and high pitched I have to use the turtle button.

Thank you. It helps that you’ve made clear the cost of it monthly too
Thanks, Paul. Would you recommend this for a beginner? It seems a little too advanced for beginning
Nah you can learn the most common words using it and it suggests sentences you could have said, give it a try it’s good
Another great informative video, Paul! But.... yo soy codo... so what is the best FREE AI for learning Spanish?
Hey and thank you for nice videos. I am aiming to speak cuban spanish. Which of the available options come closest? Mexican?
Cool, let's hear it!
They are not very proud of their prices because it is easier to find evidence of alien life than their prices, DAAAAAMN!
You are so right! I can’t find them anywhere. Only prices for human tutors. Part of me thinks that most of the comments here are AI generated.
I'm interested but I'm just a new espanol student. it looks more for someone who speaks fluently. am I wrong?
My problem with the last one I tried was waiting for the AI response took ages to “think.” Is this one more like the response time in an actual conversation? Not sure if the demonstration in this video was the normal/expected outcome. Thanks!
It is more responsive than previous ones. Even with a complex topic, it's about 4 seconds or so to respond.
Question!: I am learning Spanish and my wife is learning Italian...can we share one account or need to buy 2??? Thanks..enjoy your channel!!
Gracias!!
If I'm reading the site correctly, there are 3 different packages, unlimited, communicate, Immerse???? Is that right? Looks like they have annual option for each. Which one do you have? I so excited about this! Thanks for the video.
Hola Paul,
Do you know if your code gets the discount in addition to the discount for an annual membership? Thanks?
I think you only get one. Mine is at 20% now. They reduced it from 25% a month or so ago.
Thank you. Very helpful.
How does it compared to Talk Pal?
Hi everyone, I have this program but I find the integration with my iPhone next to useless. The audio from the AI only comes out of the speaker that you use if you hold your phone to your ear. AirPods do not work at all.
Also, the record and send function sometimes doesn’t work. I have contacted support but they say it is an Apple issue. I hardly ever use it now which is a shame.
Did you download the new app? These problems were apparently resolved on that.
This app wont show up in India. On both android and apple. Their website shows up as inaccessible as well. Is this a limited domain app?
Vivo en Chile. Tengo 72 anos. Necesito algo asi por que mi salud no esta bien y casi todos los dias estoy solo en mi casita. Algunos dias no puedo hacer nada pero me gusta apprender español/chilian .Gracias Qroo Paul . Vaya con Dios
One question - as a spanish student I can usually figure out how to express something (a word for word translation in my head). However, it may not be the normal way something is expressed in Mexico, for example. This is a pitfall of practicing speaking too soon. Will this tool correct me to the right way to express something?
Thanks Paul! Do you get money through the affiliate link?
Pretty sure that's what affiliate link means yeah
Usually that's how affiliate links work.
@AndreAngelantoni Not sure why he needed to say this wasn't a sponsored video though. Doesn't matter if he gets paid upfront or gets paid through sales. There's still motivation to push the product because of monetary gain in some way
@@Snk13_ty Well because it wasn't a sponsored video
It matters because if he gets paid up front, he's saying what they want him to in exhange for money. This way he can say whatever he wants - which means that people are more likely to believe him and more likely to actually use the service
@@samstromberg5593 that make sense. Appreciate the reply
I know what I want for Christmas! I just tried the free version and it’s amazing.
Would this be useful for a complete beginner?
Very interesting program
Could you please confirm that when they say that we’ll be chatting with any of the listed tutors in listen and read mode i.e Maria, Miguel, Cristian, Daniela, that these are the AI ones rather than the actual online Spanish tutors? Most likely that I’ll use one of the human tutors to practise but it was the AI option I was interested in trying initially, hence searching for one with this feature . Thanks
Yes, they are the AI tutors. Not real folks.
Shame is only for spanish... Yo ya se hablar en español... now I am trying to learn French... and would love to have this AI for french as well
You could switch back and forth between French, Spanish, German, and other languages with just one account.
What do you think about Xiaoma AI tutor
I think it is limited for Spanish. It doesn't offer the wide range of AI tutors by region to help people focus one particular Spanish. It's more than just an accent. It's word choice, colloquialisms and even slang.
Paul do you have any comments about Jumpspeak?
I went through the whole Pimsleur course and am not doing Duolingo, one of the little girls on there speaks so fast and high pitched I have to use the turtle button.
Looks good, but I can’t honestly believe that you would be endorsing this app without any compensation.
He's definitely getting compensated. He's got an affiliate link.
Really like the look of this but no option for discount code.
It's a flaw in the design of the pay portal. Are you on a laptop? If so, look for 'Add discount' just below the Subtotal and above the tax on the left (if tax applies in your country).
If you're instead on mobile, you have to click 'Show order summary' when the checkout opens and it will reveal the same thing I described for laptops.
Is the app designed for complete beginner or do i need to know a bit of spanish to start with? Thank you Paul!
I did see a button for beginner on there. 😊
They don´t say what the price is. If you know, please share here.
Can it check my pronunciation as this is the main problem
I tried using you discount code and they didn't acknowledge it.
It's all caps and only good on annual plans. If you reach out to them, they will credit you.
How much does it cost? you don't say and they don't have it listed anywhere that I can see on their website.
Bout $20 per month.
