Last week my 27 year old Model 79 Series II lost its Ohms and Low Ohms functionality after being caught in a rain storm. I've tested all the other functions which are OK. In need of a functioning ohmmeter, I DuckDuckGoed "Fluke DMM" which led me to FlukeDirect and a good deal on the 114. I've also had a Fluke bench type VOM I don't recall the model # of, a 27 that died, an 87 I had to return when I left that job, and a Temp Probe and top of the line DC and AC RMS clamp Ammeter that were stolen. I used the old boatanchor Fluke differential voltmeters in the Navy and at a couple of aerospace jobs. Long live Fluke, and I hope that my old & new Flukemeters will live long as well. Thanks for the video.
@@caspervanandel8814Hello Yes, of course you need to unscrew the multimeter and under the setting knob there is a plastic lock in the housing of the knob, remove it gently and then the knob will be able to turn one more position down where it is not described as in the higher model but on the main board of the multimeter all these features are there ua-cam.com/video/E2hnhDkYNWs/v-deo.htmlsi=-v0tPISnSY1I6C2q
If the Fluke 114 and 110 plus are same, you. can get additional functions " diode and capacitance" by modifying the dial switch. I have done it with fluke 110 plus and both diode/capacitance are working fine.

For the money its a great meter, I have the much larger 87v max , I grab the 117 most of the time for general purpose work
Tks For Share, Great Tester FLUKE 's 100 series.
Thanks for watching!
Many thanks for your great review
Could you tell me which Fluke multimeter is best for mobile repair please?
fluke 114 also has a hidden capacitor diode test function, very easy to unlock
Hi Mariusz, I was looking for that, can you tell me the trick?

Hello, fluke 114 have you checked the modifications yet?
@@caspervanandel8814hay que sacar la tapa, y recortarle el plástico, y se libera la funcion

hi ! ive 114 and need diode mode... can you explain me how to do ?
What year did the 117 first come to the market? Asking as I have one given to me, cannot see date stamp on it. Just curious to its age. Thanks.
Si sacas o cortas esos pines del lado interior puedes usar para medir diodos y capacidad
I'm confused, why leave out diode test??
If the 114 had a diode test it would almost match the 117.
I had a 115
