@Eliit is easy for them wym. Yeah they buy their own stuff but they go to places other people can’t like I garuntee you if they go to the public land place I go to they wouldn’t even see a deer bc they are so used to baiting and food plotting they sit there and a giant walks out in 30 minutes we sit there in our public land stands for 5 hours and see one doe or nothing. they have it easy!

I’m 1000!!!!!
I am a 15 yo whitetail hunter in Michigan and have been deer hunting since I was 13 trying to get a buck. Yesterday morning I went out with my dad and forgot my toilet paper(rookie mistake). Mid squat a nice 8 point buck that anyone in Michigan would of took runs right past me 20 yards away straight through the food plot I was hunting. After that day I ended up missing one sock 😞. Tonight I went out and got a shot at the same buck as yesterday and undershot it because I thought it was 30 yards away and ended up being about 45. I am currently in permanent depression(jk). Any recommendations for a good starter rangefinder for crossbow hunting with Angle compensation? I have made a arch nemesis with my first buck.
This is such a sad story and I'm emotionally invested...

Money talks...bullshit walks. They asked the land owner. Deal was made!" That deer wasn't leaving that property. These guys did every thing right by asking permission and having a contract. You can't tell me if you had the 2500 to spend/blow you wouldn't have done the same thing for yourself or for your son.

Guys do it all the time. I'd rather pay 2500.00 than 20k up 30k to shoot a 250 to 300 inch whitetail that lives in a high fence enclosure. This buck he shot was free range. Spot n stalk with a bow in those kinda elements...my hats off to them. You can argue with me or whoever u want too ok. These guys went by the book to harvest that buck. I was a whitetail guide for 5 yrs and I've seen countless number of guys and woman pay 4500 to 6500 to shoot a whitetail only scoring 150 inches. People save save save for years to hunt deer, elk ,moose ect...it's free Chase. Anyone can hunt those animals given the choice with cash in hand. Me personally I cannot afford to spend 2500 on a hunt. But If I was given the opportunity to shoot a buck of that caliper and the cash to spend. You bet your ass I would have done it too.
